The staff were helpful on arrival, the rooms were comfortable, warm and clean and we enjoyed the hot tubs in the snow. There is a lovely view from the dining room and the food was good. The secret lagoon is nearby but Fludir is a small village with only a few cafes or shops to visit. It's in a brilliant...

The hotel is located on the golden circle. This makes it a popular stop. The rooms are quite big and they all have a door to the inner garden. In the inner garden there are two hot tubs. The staff is friendly and breakfast is above average with a lot of choice.

My family and I had a great stay at Icelandair Hotel Fludir in early January. The staff were very friendly and accommodating on arrival and throughout our stay. The room was comfortable with all modern amenities. The L'Occtaine en Provence toiletries were a nice surprise as were the outdoor hot pools (which were lovely & warm on a cold January...

Our travel agent booked this hotel for us. I emailed to the hotel, using the address on their website, about 10 days in advance asking them a question. They never responded. As far as the room, it was basic and seems typical of Iceland hotels, more the European style not the American style. We have so far been in a...

I would give 0 stars if I could. The hallways smell musty and the rooms are old and run down. Our room was overwhelmingly hot and we had to open a window AND the outside door to cool it after turning the radiator to its lowest setting. When we travel, sleep is of the utmost importance. These beds are lumpy...

We stayed here on night so we would be closer to the Golden Circle. It is a lovely hotel with a cozy dining room, bar and lounge area. We enjoyed dinner here because there are very few option in town and had a nice meal. We woke up to the most amazing sunrise outside of the restaurant and had a...

This is a hotel sold only to non-Icelandic tourists. It is old and in an awkward location if you don't have a car. Our toilet would not stop running. We were told that there was nothing that could be done as the hotel was sold out and the toilets were old. The WiFi is very weak, the rooms are small...

I'm a local living in Reykjavik. I stayed here with a team of coworkers during an annual festival. The hotel is nice given it's a country side hotels in Iceland. The rooms are simple but include all the amenities needed for a stay. Make sure to have your swim suites with you to enjoy the outdoor jacuzzi. The restaurant served...

Stayed here one night. Supposed to be a three star hotel. Mmmmm! Not sure who's doing the ratings. Foyer is actually pretty nice . Room ok and bathroom basic. Didn't even have a glass in there for water. Had to ask for a couple. Fludir is worth missing but close to some attractions
