We stayed three nights at Borgarnes Hostel and to be a hostel it was a good place to stay. We could easily stay there again. We had a large room with its own bath. It was not luxurious, but we enjoyed our stay.

Room was OK. Location in town. Clean and basic. NO breakfast. It was bit pricy comparing to other options in town. Owner was nice and helpful. In general - try to find place with breakfast for the same price.

I went with my husband, and kids aged 5, 3 and 1. We got a room for ourselves, with shared bathroom. Everything was clean and tidy (it wasn't high season though) Staff was really helpful with where to get food, and trips to do (or not to do in the rain). It's very well located. Near swimming pool, walking distance...

It is really well-priced and is central to everything you'd want to see in the town. Rooms are a bit tiny though so don't come with 20 suitcases. Walls are also rather thin so don't make too much noise.

Good hostel with the usual facilities, not too far from Reykjavik (70 kms when you take the tunnel under the Hvalfjordur). The atmosphere in the hostel is relaxed, with a nice dining-room, several kitchens and places to sit back. You can park your car across the street. In Borgarnes there are several supermarkets and petrol stations, two nice museums, a...

I was there for two nights and it's good enough to be recommended. The staff is very friendly and helpfull, they recommend to do hitch-hike and the visit the west part for the day and that was a very nice idea. The room was perfect, the kitchen has all you need, the coffee is included.

Basic hostel in Borgarnes. We used it as a place to rest after a long day of sightseeing and continue with our road trip the next morning. It fulfilled our aspirations. It was clean and conveniently located.

Great hostel in Central Borgarnes. Room was clean and comfortable with blackout curtains. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Good quality geothermal showers. The hostel had generous kitchen, lounge and dining spaces, as well as a laundry service.

Checking in was superfast with a friendly receptionist. The private room that I booked was clean though basic with a chair and small table, a trash bin, and a comfortable bed with thick enough bed linens (extra charge) that helped me from freezing from the cold weather during my visit (June 1st). Internet was very good and I had no...
