Everything about this hotel was positive-the location, which was within walking distance of everything in the downtown area. The two bedroom suite we had was extremely spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Would definitely stay at the same place the next time we are in Omaha.
I had booked a business stay at the downtown residence inn from June 16 - July 30 through my company travel desk. This was during the world college series event at Omaha. As part of this event the hotel was getting all the bookings under...More

All of the chain hotels I've stayed at (in Omaha and beyond) place what's known as an "authorization hold" on my credit card before I check in. It's not the same as actually charging me, but it's how the hotels see if you have enough credit limit to cover the stay. The authorization lets them reserve part of your credit limit before they actually process the payment when you check out. The authorization amount is usually just a percentage of what the total stay will cost; I've never seen them hold the full cost of the stay.
