Plus: Excellent location within town and region. Cheap. Cons: Because of location, traffic noise was incessant. No a/c or fans. Add this to the traffic then in summer this would be unbearable. Food was acceptable, although breakfast was very basic and when we checked out we surprised to find that we had been charged for extra coffee at breakfast. Rooms...

The hotel is perfectly located in this beautiful village of L'Isle sur la Sorgue, along the river. The room are clean, but the window are so old that you hear every single noise from outside ,and next to the hotel is a road we a huge traffic jam ! So during all the night you hear motor noise, not very...

This looked like a lovely hotel on the outside but was appalling to stay in. After a long days cycling we arrived to find our suitcases (sent ahead by taxi) dumped by the door in the bar. Le Patron made no attempt to carry them up the 2 very large flights of stairs with no lift. In the room the...

We stayed in June in room number one when the weather was very warm. It had a little balcony with a beautiful view but the room itself had little ventilation and was uncomfortably warm. When we asked one of the staff whether it would be possible to have a fan, she said everyone asks but the boss never buys or...

We stayed at the Lou Soloy for one night based on the trip advisor review describing the hotel's convenience for the Sunday Morning Market. That recommendation was right on. Upon our arrival, we were able to find parking a block away, on the street, and we were able to get up and go on Sunday morning to the fabulous market....

We chose this hotel so that we could walk to the Sunday morning market, but never imagined it would be our favorite place in Provence. It's in a historic building that rests directly over a canal in the heart of town, and our pretty little room had a perfect view of the bridge below. The staff was very friendly and...

[corrected version of my previous review] This was the second time I stayed in the Lou Soloy and I know why I will return. L'Isle sur la Sorgue is itself ideally placed between Avignon, Carpentras and Cavaillon to become your "base of operations" in the Vaucluse. The hotel, on the other hand, is owned by a likable couple, who will...
