Good evening MrVain69, I appreciate you taking time to provide feedback to us! I would like to elaborate on our vehicle warnings. Unfortunately vehicle break-ins have been occurring frequently in the city of Anchorage so we feel it is necessary to give our guests advance warning because we are on free public parking. Most locations in the area have multiple large signs in their parking lots with this same type of warning. We would love if it weren't the case but it is something we all have the chance of happening to us. I am happy your vehicle was not tampered with and we only have a break-in reported to us once in a while within our own parking. We do have overnight security monitoring the parking lot which deters potential vandals. I apologize the pool was not functional during your stay. We are awaiting replacement parts to have it up and running properly. This is for the health and safety of all our guests. I understand the disappointment you felt when finding out the pool room was closed and know our maintenance team works very hard to keep this to a minimum. Our prices are comparable to neighboring hotels of the same type and we are known to be the best value in our area. Based on when you placed your review, it appears you may have stayed during the Fur Rondy event which brings in thousands of visitors from all over the world. This may have been the reason your rate was higher than you expected since most hotels will completely sell out during this festival. If you have the time, I would like to hear more about your stay such as the dates you stayed, prices you paid and any other details you would like to inform me of. Hello JEaklor, I have thoroughly read your review and regret you weren't able to get the quality sleep you expect and we expect to provide our guests. Though we did have minimal damage due to the November 30th earthquake, I will not shift the blame to the disaster as these are things we are responsible for maintaining while we are providing rooms for guests to enjoy. You were towards the middle of the floor which is near the elevator but you are certain the noise was not coming from the elevator which I understand because the elevator would not create a constant noise. We do have overnight security on premise whose responsibilities include monitoring the hallways on all floors to keep people from lingering so I am also disappointed to hear this was an issue as well. I am proud the room was large and comfortable for you but am saddened you encountered so much noise. I would like the opportunity to look more into the circumstances during your stay so feel free to contact me directly so I can narrow down the details of your stay such as dates, room number, etc.... It makes for a quick ride or nice casual walk to fulfill your needs for shopping, dining & entertainment. Do you think that it's ok to have the front desk clerk at clarion tell you that your MasterCard doesn't work then tries to send u off to extended stay after they had swiped my card 3x taking out all the money I had left in MasterCard. Tried Leaving you out in the cold, lettin you go from hotel to hotel wondering why you have no money left. And then was able to figure out that the clarion had charged ur card 3x after telling you, the card doesn't work -well it happend to me, i went back after motel 6 had helped me get to the bottom of what was going on with my card, I was lucky enough to make my way back all the way to the clarion to confront the front desk clerk, he walks away &was whispering with ppl in the back room for a good 15mins then comes back out not even apologizing his excuse was because I was $5 short? &I offered to have money back in card the next day, which leaves me with no money no place to go. I have a video recorded and photos of the man who is STILL working there! He also offered to pay money back out of the companies til/register. Because HE WAS GUILTY & still no apology. Whether he gave me cash back it was 5 in the morning I was tired and cold and scared because I had nowhere to go a the time and didn't know my way around i have no car so he expected me to go on about my way with all my bags in middle night wandering around the streets after I had told him I got dropped off so I'm on foot what kind of man could do that to a girl, I got sick for a week because I caught a cold! From bein out and about because of that employee of clarion suites! Screw the money he should be fired! That's fraud, he swiped my card 3x

Hi Crystal, I apologize on behalf of my team. When we had spoken over the phone and the issue that was addressed to me was about not receiving a refund. After some research, there was proof that a cash advance was taken. You did receive a cash advance and got the $90.00 refunded. It was an exception for you to receive the cash advance as a form of refund with a Card Payment because our policy does not allow cash advance. The employee was spoken to within 24 hours of the incident because the employee was not allowed to give the money back in cash form (cash advance). The amount charged on the card was supposed to be refunded back to the card and would have taken a few days or depending on your bank, 14 days. To help you out, a cash advance was given to you with your signature that you received it. The hotel does not allow fraud, lying, or cheating. Also the hotel does have the right to refuse service if the payment was unable to be collected with the incidental security deposit upon check in. Unfortunately, our security does not work or is affiliated with the front operations. The issues have already been resolved, therefore no other actions will take place. We apologize for the inconvenience, as mentioned in this statement and over the phone, we were able to accommodate you with a cash advance. Thank you for taking your time to express your thoughts. Again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Glacier Brewhouse is a go to destination for an excellent meal. The ambience is nice, the meals are well presented and they have excellent kids meals.
