Location was fine, room was clean but the lobby of the hotel was shabby. Furniture was worn out and the upholstery was torn badly. All of the furniture was in need of replacement. No excuse for the way it looked.

The Westmark Anchorage Hotel in Anchorage Alaska was one of the Hotels we stayed in on the land component of our Holland America Line Cruise. We found the staff friendly and provided good service. Centrally located to the Train depot also.

This is a very simple and inexpensive hotel, it provides comfortable pillows and beds, the bathroom provides shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser inside the showers. There is no fridge or microwave in the room, has a very rustic fitness center, and they charge you $15 at night for parking. It is located in the heart of Downtown Anchorage. walking...

We needed a nice place for a Friday night. Downtown Anchorage is notorious for being overpriced, not to mention the fact that good places are usually jammed. It was New Years weekend, making matters worse. My daughter and I went to dinner early. She's vegan--not many choices in Alaska! But the staff was friendly and understanding, the food was very...

Friendly staff, Chris, helped me out with places to go and parking. Room was clean and organized. Overall definitely worth the reasonable price. Right in the heart of downtown, so walking distance to all kinds of things

My husband and I had a very long night/day of traveling and my car battery died. The front desk staff member went and got her own jumper cables and they helped us jump our car in the morning so we could get a new one. It was a lifesaver that we didn't have to get a tow! Such a personal...

We were on a trip to Alaska December 2016. We went with a tour company and they put us up in the Westmark. We checked in late and had a smooth check-in process. The rooms were average sized, nothing special. Two queen beds, a desk. Our room opened up to the bay, and being on the 10th Floor had a...

Stayed in the hotel while attending a convention elsewhere in the middle of November. I used the restaurant for breakfast one morning before the convention began with no issues. The rooms were nice and comfortable and offered wi-fi. Parking did not look bad but I was driven by others. There were many nice restaurants restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel seems to be oriented more toward business travelers but it is very comfortable. It is located close to shopping, galleries, and restaurants. The Anchorage Museum is just a short walk away. The hotel restaurant has good food at reasonable prices. All of the staff was friendly and helpful during our stay.

Thank Cindy J
