Susitna Place is ideally located within walking distance to downtown Anchorage, yet tucked away on a quiet residential street. Our family of three stayed in the Iliamna Room for one night in July. That room (and its amazing en suite bathroom) is in the lower/basement level of the house, so we did hear plumbing noise in the night. However, it...

What's not to love about a spacious, immaculately clean room, a living and dining room with a fab view, a gracious host who finds ways to make your stay comfortable and easy? I travel to Anchorage frequently for business and to see one of my children who lives in Anchorage. As a result, I have stayed in all the major...

We stayed here 1 night as transitioned from the Kenai Peninsula to Denali. We had a spacious, very comfortable and tastefully appointed room with a large deck overlooking the harbor. Everything was very comfortable. Proprietors were very helpful accommodating our need to depart early for the train in the morning by serving us breakfast a little ahead of schedule as...

We stayed here while in Anchorage, and the owners were more than accommodating. We had some weird scheduling things when leaving, but they made it easy to store our things while waiting for an evening plane. Breakfasts were great, rooms comfortable and this place was a bonus for our time here. Nice sunsets and views from the deck were a...

The room was large lovely and very comfortable. The area was quiet and a short (...

We started and ended our AK trip here. Both rooms were very comfortable. Linda is a great hostess and provided delicious breakfasts and helpful travel recommendations each day. We enjoyed the view of Denali from the common area on the days it was clear. We will stay there again if we return to Anchorage! We walked each day to downtown,...

We chose Susitna BB to spend our one night in Anchorage before heading north to Denali. It was a great choice. Quiet area with nice restaurants you could walk to. Linda was a great host. The view as we ate breakfast was super. Certainly recommend. We were two mature couples-- both rooms were very nice.

My husband and I spent two nights in the Susitna Suite at Susitna Place in Anchorage. Our deck/balcony had spectacular views of the Cook Inlet (including a blazing sunset), the snow covered Alaska Mountain Range and Denali on the horizon. The accommodations were modern, stylish, clean and comfortable. I loved the breakfast buffet. Our host, Linda, was welcoming and helpful....

We stayed at Susitna place for one night at the beginning of our Alaska trip. Location: This place is about 7 miles from the airport and the detailed driving directions shared at the time of reservation ensured that we had absolutely no trouble finding it. The house itself is in the middle of a quiet residential street and at a...

This being our 9 th visit to Alaska, my husband and I pretty much have it down to a science of where to go, eat, sleep Ect. In 2014 there was a bump in our plans as the B and B we always stayed at was sold and is now a home. There are many B and Bs in anchorage,...
