As we booked the Explorer room we noticed clearly that the bathroom was detached from the bedroom! However that this bathroom is nearly in the dining room was not indicated. On some of the pictures of the dining room you can see the door to this bathroom. Marilyn has even nailed a note on the door that it is a...

I am puzzled by this review. You were on the property for a very short while and you did not stay with us. You did not have the opportunity to experience our rooms, our beds, our breakfast, or our hospitality. How can you even post a fair review? On arrival, you complained quite vociferously about (and now appear to be...

It is clear that the owner, Marilyn, and her very competent, welcoming staff are dedicated to perfection. The accommodations are comfortable, well-planned, and tastefully decorated, as are the common areas. It's location is good, close-in, and also near Spenard Road where we returned our rental car and got their shuttle back to the B& B. We had to catch the...

The location is excellent. About a $10 cab ride from the airport. Within a mile of most downtown eateries and mall. Nicely kept, clean, self serve coffee 24/7, light snacks available in kitchen. Salmon quesadillas were fantastic. One of the more memorable dishes during our stay.

Stayed at this B&B for one Friday night before catching early flight back home Saturday morning. Stayed in the Odyssey room on main floor in the main house. Found the self check in easy and room clean and comfortable; although would recommend a ceiling fan. We arrived mid afternoon after a long morning bike ride, so we headed right to...

We stayed here for three nights in the backpacker room. It had a bedroom, small bathroom across the hall, it's own sitting room and guest laundry - all private within your own area downstairs. The check-in process was quite clear and it was great to be able to use the shared kitchen upstairs. The biscuits and cake left out to...

We stayed 1 day and 2 nights in the 'Sojourn' flat next to the main house. It was very clean and well equipped and we found the "11th Ave Team" very friendly and helpful. But most importantly - the breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

I booked this room based on the description and pictures on a hotel booking site. I have rated this property as I have because we came to an agreement with the proprietor on our stay. Here is an edited version of my discussion with Marilyn, the proprietor: Proprietor: Regarding the room- There's obviously a disconnect in the manner in which...

We stayed for one night in the Backpacker room. We had plenty of room & everything looked so nice & clean. We got in late from a flight, but the innkeepers were great to work with & very accommodating. Breakfast was also fabulous with yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, sweet cake, various juices, and delicious salmon quesadilla. I would...
