We were staying for only one night, as our flight left early the next morning. We knew check in was late (4pm), but we stopped by around noon to see if we might check in early. Our room was not available, but the gentleman at the desk (the guy with chickens....can't remember his name) offered to hold our luggage in...

Thank you for your review! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed your time with us. The desk agent that you are thinking of is Tim, and I'll be sure to pass along to him that he was especially helpful to your needs. Thank you again; we hope to see you back here soon! Location, location, location...this hotel is a short walk from a number of great restaurants and the Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum, etc). There is onsite parking ($18 a night I believe), but its walking distance saves money on parking in other areas of Seattle. The room on the hotel is a must, go up and enjoy a sunset,...

Thank you for the feedback here! Yes, parking is $18/night, but it really isn't necessary if one's plans are mainly within the city. As you mentioned, we have a wonderful location that is 5 blocks walking to many spots in Seattle Center, as well as on a major bus line to get folks quickly downtown for everything else in the...

We stayed for four days at the end of the June. You know what? This is a solid hotel. Check in was super smooth. Front desk staff was very helpful and answered all questions. When I told Patrick we were renting a car Saturday night, he let us know parking was free on the street overnight. We stayed on the...

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad to hear that the Front Desk Staff was helpful with getting you the information you needed and that you were able to take advantage of free street parking. As you mentioned, not all of our rooms have A/C, but due to our mild climate it is rarely an issue which seemed to be...

Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of June, we wanted to be close to attractions as we didn't want to have to drive to everything. Great location!! Room was very clean & well maintained, there were a few minor things paint chips etc, but since the hotel is old it is to be expected. Very satisfied. Emily...

Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate knowing that Emily so helpful to you before and during your time here, so thank you for mentioning her. We are in a great location, and as you mentioned, one can get around easily without having to drive. I'm glad that you enjoyed it! We look forward to having you back the next...

Coming from the East, I was expecting rooms to be larger and more value for one's money. We did not find this when we stayed at the Mediterranean. Our smallish room had one double bed and was a bit outdated. It was a lovely 20 - 30 minute walk to Pike's Market and Dock 52. Staff was thoughtfully helpful. We...

Thank you for your feedback! Our rooms are a bit on the cozier side, but with the in-room kitchenettes, large working desks, and other amenities, we think that we manage a lot in those smaller spaces. We update regularly (this will be our first summer with new bedspreads and linens), and are always finding new projects to keep our staff...

Thank you for your comments! I'm glad that you enjoyed the location and that our Front Desk staff were helpful during your time with us. We have a great spot here in the neighborhood, and from our roof deck our location helps provide some of those great views you enjoyed. I was a bit unclear on what you meant by...

Room view - located across a narrow alley from another building/apartment. We needed to keep our blinds closed for privacy. Cost - we were charged a few hundred dollars over the actual cost of the room in error (the first night of our trip). We were then told it was a bank error. Finally, after an eventual discussion with the...

Oh dear! I'm very sorry for your difficult experience here. The incorrect charges may already have cleared, but if there is any way that I (or anyone on our team) can be of assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Great location to space Needle and restaurants. Extremely expensive for what you actually get. Lobby and rooms are clean but small. Thank you for your feedback! I'm sorry to hear that you didn't find us as great of a value as we aim to be for all of our guests. Our rates may have been higher than usual during your time here; the city of Seattle was more than booked for many days in June, and the demand saw increased rates....

Mr. Owens, Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your time with us as much as we would have wanted. Thank you for your feedback! The A/C really isn't something we always need. With windows that open and ceiling fans that turn on, getting the rooms to cool down during the evening and overnight is not difficult at all. Plus, our average temperatures rarely rise above the mid-70s. Of course, if it ever is a concern for a future stay,...
