Upon arrival in Seattle, we found that Seattle was in the middle of a horrible heat wave and the hotel we had booked not only had a broken a/c system, but no guest parking available. Fortunately, we were able to get a room at Staypinepple, Watertown. This hotel, has a/c units (can be noisy at times) and an underground parking garage. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful at time of check in. They provided free water whenever asked and free drink coupons. The room was spacious, and came with a microwave and refrigerator. I didn't care for the provided soaps and shampoos but we had brought our own. The room could've used some dusting and the ripped shower curtain needed to be replaced. On the first morning we did try to buy breakfast downstairs but was told that they had no food to sell. However, there is a small market just across the street with everything you would need and more. The location is great and easy access to all points in the area and greater Seattle. The coffee/breakfast location in the hotel was fully stocked the next day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the pineapple cookies are pretty good as well.…
Good value hotel with nice extras -- free water, decent coffee. Staff helpful and pleasant. The inroom AC was very loud, when it kicked in it was like having a truck idling in your bedroom. Also, the dumpster pick up would best be scheduled for later than 5am. Overall, though, a good experience.
A very comfortable room and friendly staff made for a great stay. Excellent location for a 10 day conference at UW ! The room layout, amenities, climate control, supercomfortable bedding were all great. The location, nearby restaurants and a market across the street added to the comfort and vibe.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! 1. No room service or any food at the hotel 2. Housekeeping is only provided every other day and only if requested! For he rate you charge this is absolutely unacceptable. 3. Weird bedding. No flat sheet, each queen bed had two twin size comforters only. Very strange 4. No area rug in the room, only a cold floor with a cheap tiny mat in between the beds> very cold and sterile 5. No chair in the room. 6. Room was generally run down and absolutely not commensurate with the rate charged 7. The worst part is when my daughter was sick in the middle of the night, I called and asked for Advil or any over medicine / pain killer, and you said that is not something you have or can help with. After calling back several times you instructed me to walk down to the dirty, sketchy Chevron convenient store. So I left my daughter to do so because I had no other option. You have a standard of care to your guests and this is was absolutely not met. What a complete rip off and waste of money. I hated this hotel and I will NEVER EVER stay at your dumpy disappointing hotel again…
Usually my hotel booking fee covers amenities, parking, and breakfast. At staypineapple, you are charged a daily amenity fee for WiFi that you can’t opt out of, charged for parking, and charged for breakfast.
This place is super cute! You feel right at home with the cozy comforters and the smells of pineapple in the soap and lotion. Fun do not disturb sign, aka "I'm naked, go away".Very clean! Fun staff! Complimentary drink so got chai tea in the morning, not just coffee and water and the cafe.
Not only is the place comfortable, fun, hip & in a great location-it also has the best staff! Jason went above and beyond to give my friend and I a spectacular experience. I couldn’t locate my reservation-no problem-Jason got me squared away in a matter of minutes and with a smile. I hadn’t seen my best friend for 6 years-Jason provided us a bottle of complimentary champagne to celebrate the occasion. And then to top it off-he gave us a small box of chocolates. The Seattle freeze is a real thing-but the Pineapple was immune with Jason at the front desk sharing smiles and seeets and treats. Come to the Pineapple-you will leave planning your next return.
What a great hotel right in the University District and only a short walk to the Univ of Washington. The bed was super comfy, the amenities perfect for our needs. Steps to nice places for supper and a great little cafe downstairs. It's in a clean area and I love how it's pet friendly! We will return often as our daughter is now enrolled - and we'll definitely be back to Watertown. Thank you!
Attentive welcome as we walked in. Easy process to get three rooms. Very nice rooms, comfy bed and pillows. Very clean bathrooms. We loved their blankets. My whole family enjoyed their stay. Good experience. We will definitely use them again!! Thank you!!
Never stayed at Pineapple. In town for college visit. Jason, Jackie & all the staff were so helpful. Room was clean, got xtra towels, close to Link & campus. Cafe was convenient. Will definitely stay again!
