Perfect location for a conference in Seattle. Facilities were perfect, staff was extremely helpful, and conveniently located to experience the Emerald city, with shopping, restaurants, and tourist sites within walking distance.

We had, I feel, justifiably high expectations of this hotel. Some aspects met those expectations- fantastic bed/linens, quiet, spacious - but some major surprises/disappointments. We stayed three nights. At check in we were not alerted to the fact that meant our room would not be serviced for our whole stay. After the first day we were shocked that nothing had been done in the room and went to reception to ask why. It was then explained that housekeeping is every three days. Have stayed in hotels of all grades all over the world and have never not had daily housekeeping. Hard to believe. So on day two, the shower gel ran out. There was a coffee maker with 4 paper cups and 4 pods - enough for 2 people for 2 days. Supposedly complementary water for 3 days - 4 small bottles. If I'm paying $300+ a night, I think I could expect better than this. It would be unheard of in Europe.

A coffee cup disintegrated in my hand and burned me. That management didn’t think to check in was crazy, that some of my requests were not honored…so sad. Staff tried to help but I was left unsatisfied with their response. Customer service in Seattle? I doubt it exists.

Perfect location for visiting waterfront area. Lots of nice restaurants and coffee places nearby as well as shopping. Rooms are little expensive after additional fees and charges, but room was clean and view was great.

Stayed at Regency Seattle for a week for work and the quality of my stay far surpassed my expectations. I don’t stay at Hyatt’s all that often, but the Marriott offerings in Seattle are bleak so decided to try here after a promising Points Guy article. Arriving at 9:30am, I didn’t expect a room to be ready and the hotel was slammed with a huge group checking out to head to the boat docks for an Alaskan cruise. The lobby was bright and airy with a great upscale Pacific Northwest meets trendy vibe with lots of areas to relax or work. The front desk was very efficient and I didn’t have to wait more than 30 seconds. The front desk person who helped me was friendly and was able to make a miracle happen and got me into my room right then and there. She also did ask me if I wanted housekeeping daily or every three days, I selected daily. My only feedback is that she didn’t go over anything about the hotel, just handed me my keys and directed me to the elevator. It’s a massive complex, and a brief overview would have been nice. The elevators were super fast all week, regardless of time of day. The hallways were very impressive with a luxurious vibe, really made me think of of some of the Park Hyatt’s and Grand Hyatt’s I've stayed at in the past. My room was on the 27th floor with huge windows and a great view towards public market and the water. The room was extremely spacious, well decorated and definitely new. I appreciated the mini fridge and bottled water as well as the built in luggage racks. The beds were definitely the highlight they were on par with any Ritz Carlton or Park Hyatt, the mattress was plush with a feather topper, pillows were fluffy and sheets were soft —- had to be a step-up from the normal Hyatt offering. Wow Hyatt—as someone who travels monthly at similar full-service upper midscale hotels this was such an unexpected treat. The bathroom was also large and luxe with a walk-in shower and strong water pressure. The gym is on the 8th floor and has a nice assortment of cardio and strength. My only suggestion is to get another set of free weights as the one set (goes up to 100lbs) does get a lot of use in the morning hours and results in some sharing or wait times. The cold eucalyptus scented towels were also a nice, luxurious touch that again not typical in this class of hotel. There’s an express coffee/breakfast shop on the 2nd floor that I went to my first day and it hit the spot, but across the street is Mr West and Juicy Bar which were more inline with my personal tastes. I ate at the lobby bar (Andare) twice and both times the food came out quickly and was good quality. The bar staff knows how to make good drinks and have a great knowledge of the local wines on the menu too. I did not eat at the steak spot on the 2nd floor, I popped in, but it was too stuffy for me after a long workday. I was a bit perplexed but all the guests setting up picnics in the lobby lounge areas with their own personal food, it was really odd walking through the lobby with people and their take out containers or pizza boxes. I’ve never seen this really, outside of maybe budget hotels (Hyatt Place, Courtyard…). It was strange, maybe management needs to reconsider that policy. Housekeeping came daily as promised and did a great job keeping up the room and refreshed the bottled water. Ironically, my co worker, who’s a Hyatt Globalist, scoffed when he found out I chose Regency Seattle over the Hyatt Grand Seattle (just a block down) but when he checked in and saw how old and run down Grand was he definitely was jealous. Maybe they should change flags? Highly highly highly recommend Hyatt Regency Seattle for a quality, luxurious stay! While being the largest hotel in Seattle they did a great job and still making it feel intimate. If you’re in the fence between the three Hyatt flagged sites in Seattle pick Regency!

Came here with my family to escape the heat wave and stay in a room with A/C. The room was larger than I expected. Everything was clean and in immaculate condition. Only thing that would make it better is a balcony. The hotel has outdoor seating but it's not available to all guests which is a bummer.

My family stayed at the Hyatt Regency Seattle for a weeklong business trip. The hotel was excellent and so was the service. In particular, Hyatt guest representative Don provided exceptional assistance. Thank you, Don and Hyatt!

This is a new hotel, well suited for large conferences. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The food and drink options on site were good but a bit expensive. The room was very comfortable. All good.
