We were in Seattle again for another cruise ship trip to Alaska, and chose this hotel based on its good reviews. It does take a cab ride to get to the northern embarkation points in the morning, but the night before you can choose a restaurant anywhere downtown and it's convenient. As usual, the Hyatt beds made sure we had...

Stayed in a king bed room for three nights. The room was quiet and perfect to do left over work. I enjoyed the pool early in the morning. I wish they had a tub in a room, but the modern style shower wasn't bad, especially with good amenities and soft bathrobe. It was nice to stay in an eco aware...

The property is very close to all the downtown shopping areas as well as Pikes and the water front. Fabulous staff, helpful and freindly. Good public area if you have to wait a while after you check out before transportation arrives. The restaurant has some really good apps and drinks. Perfect for late night check in. Our room was so...

On walking into our room, my response was, "Ahhhh..." Clean, quiet, restful, comfortable, CLEAN. Big room, with two queen beds that were so spotless and snowy that even though I never touch a usual hotel bedspread, I flopped down on it without thinking. I think that they must use new duvet covers for each guest. Big, clean bathroom. They had...

After a third visit, Hyatt at Olive 8 remains our pied-à-terre in Seattle. Great location, very friendly reception, contemporary rooms, outstanding health club and indoor pool, and an overall smaller more boutique-like feel set this property apart from larger convention-style hotels in Seattle. We parked in the garage at the Washington State Convention Center two blocks away and paid $24...

Love that this hotel is a GREEN hotel! The rooms were very nice, beds very comfortable. We enjoyed the steam room and sauna which was just what we needed after walking around downtown Seattle. Perfect location in walking distance to shopping, Pike Place Market, and the waterfront. Staff were great! Highly recommend the hotel.

Yes it is a little pricey but everything in Seattle in August is. We managed to get an early check in which was appreciated. Nice quiet property friendly staff rooms were nicely appointed. This was so much better than the Hyatt a couple of blocks away where we stayed last year. A real plus was the breakfast. We wanted a...

We loved staying here -- the location was great for getting all over the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. There's a great bar in the lobby that also serves food, but we didn't eat there. Our room was very spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were outstanding. Our only objection was that there was not a comfortable...

Rooms were well appointed and very clean. Rooms did not come with any tea or complimentary milk which was disappointing (only catered for coffee drinkers). Hotel food was very expensive (i.e. $5 for OJ). Pool and Spa were very, very nice! Overall a very nice hotel with good facilities however more catering for non-American guests and cheaper food (or included...

The location was perfect: walking distance to public transport, restaurants, shopping, and Pike Place. For further locations (e.g., Space Needle), the city-wide bike rental was 2 blocks away. Online check-in was available and getting our keys was quick and easy. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel's gym was immaculate and there was a wide variety...
