This retro hotel is 2 very short blocks to the corner of campus making it entirely walkable. Very comfortable rooms with great views (be sure to ask if this important). Nice little bar downstairs and a coffee shop for the am. Parking right at the hotel but charge is $19/night. Fair bit of construction so be prepared for some torn...

Hello OwenHall2012, I really appreciate you taking the time to write a review about your recent trip to Seattle. Great tip by the way. We do have some amazing views of the City and beautiful Pacific Northwest that we love to show off. Also the construction you spoke of is for the new light rail station that will be opening...

At the recommendation of a colleague, I stayed here because of location, price, and easy parking. I was upgraded to a suite, which in all likelihood has spoiled me forever. The room was spacious with an enormous rooftop patio complete with planters, chairs and loungers (unfortunately it was not a day for sunbathing). The view was great and I especially...

Dear ORstatenative, It is nice to be spoiled every once in a while, right. So why not be spoiled with one of the best views in the entire city of Seattle. Not many hotel’s have roof top suites with patios that allow you to see all the best parts of the Pacific Northwest and our lovely city. It is spectacular....

Overall quite pleased with this hotel- I stayed in one of their smaller suites since it was only me. Spent several nights there for a conference. Staff there were very professional and friendly. Room was clean and service met my expectations. Being near the university was also very convenient- alot of restaurants and eateries nearby mostly catering college students which...

Hello JY32014, Thank you for your review. I think you nailed two of the best things about our hotel..the staff and the neighborhood. Our team loves to hear fantastic feedback from our guests. It puts a huge smile on our faces and makes us feel proud of the job we do. And the neighborhood, it is all about the neighborhood....

I lived in Seattle in the 80s, and when I come back to visit, I like to stay at the Deca because it captures the funky retro appeal of those days. The two times i have stayed there i had a cheap, clean room with a view of Rainier. I love the chaise lounge in front of the window and...

Hello dian o, Funky and Fun…great description of the hotel. As one of the only, if not the only, Art Deco we have really tried to keep the hotel true to form. We are so proud of the rich history of the hotel and feel it would be wrong not to celebrate it. I am glad you recognized our effort...

Had a most delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Tried to go in for dinner, but I was with my daughter who is under 21 and wasn't allowed. Went back later for a nightcap by myself. Bartenders were great!! Convenient airport shuttle for only $50. My only criticisms would be that in the bathroom there's a soap dish, but no...

Very stylish lobby with comfortable public spaces. Room was comfortable and well decorated and the location is fabulous if you want to be near University of Washington, easily walking distance and just a block off fabulous University Ave with lots of eating/drinking/shopping options. Staff friendly and helpful. My only complaints were that they only allow 1 device to sign on...

CamasNative, I am so pleased you enjoyed your visit. I I also really appreciate all of your suggestions. We are already looking into two of them. I agree that it is a bit of a pain that you cannot log into multiple devices from your room. It is something we are hoping to change in the very near future. Also,...
