This week was my first time visiting Hotel Deca. I'd come back for sure, as the Hotel was very clean and had very friendly staff. They advertise a movie library, but it's somewhat limited to Titanic-movies.

From the Dave Matthews playing on the sound system (the one time I paid attention) the funky yellow chairs in the "communal chill out" section (in the lobby behind the super cool street level Seattle coffee shop) -- to the awesome staff, the cheerful fireplace, and the killer vibe of the District Lounge? Then you head up the elevator to... More

I've stayed at the Deca a couple of times because it is so close to the University of Washington. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. On another note, the rooms are not very sound proof, there is no on demand TV and the heating/AC is terrible. If not for the location this review would be much worse.

The rooms are small, but the location is convenient for our needs. Staff is friendly, and they have a decent parking lot in a district with extremely limited parking. Nice little coffee shop downstairs.

The Deca was the conference hotel with a discount, for the event my wife was attending at UW, so it was clearly the choice for us, as Seattle hotels are always expensive. We stayed several days past the conference, and Deca extended the discount rate to those days, which was nice. I had some misgivings based on comments from others... More

My compliments to Hotel Deca. Great location to visit my niece. The rooms are clean, spacious and views of the city were terrific. They have all the makings of a comfortable stay at a reasonable price. I especially liked the kind, helpful and most friendly staff. Thanks Enjolia and Brynn- both are an asset to the hotel.

This is one of the few hotels near the University of Washington campus, and hence is often used for visitors. The hotel has undergone relatively recent sprucing up with art deco accents etc. However, it is fundamentally an old hotel. Rather than shampoo, conditioner etc. there are the old shower mounted push dispensers that are mostly clogged. There are 16... More

The interior of the hotel is straight out of the art-deco period. A very friendly and inviting atmosphere from the moment we walked in. Enjoilia was the warmest friendliest desk clerk I have ever had the opportunity to meet. She went out of her way to make our stay a great experience. We will be staying at this hotel from... More

My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend to visit our daughter at U-Dub. The location is ideal for being close to campus, the Ave., and actually only a 20 minute walk down to U Village. Also, a $10-$15 uber ride to Pike Place Market, downtown Seattle, or Pioneer Square. The staff at the front desk were very... More

I tried this hotel is an alternative to another hotel. This one has a corner location and the monopoly on so-called "deluxe" hotels in the area. They charge $20 for parking, and a hidden fee for "facilities, " even if you do not use them. The clerk upon my check out, was prepared for my protest and claimed this fee... More
