Even though we saw a few poor reviews we did not hesitate to make a reservation. The hotel has so much character. The staff was great, from the hotel bellman and front desk clerk to the Tin Lizzie morning and evening staff. Always a smile an a few friendly words. If I had to dig for anything negative it would...

Checked in and thought what a great historical hotel. The lobby was wonderful. Climbed the steps to our floor, no elevator, which was fine with us, to find our room. The room was large with a full kitchen. Our problem was that the room had an smell, musty, like that of an old home. We thought that is was water...

This place is ancient. The bathroom fixtures/cabinets/etc. date from the 50s or earlier. Not "cute" or "quaint" but musty, and dilapidated. The furniture is new (Bed, nightstand). Closet was a furnace cubby with a raw wood clothes rod and a sting-pull light. Doors to other rooms (dungeons?) "locked" with drywall screws. Paint bubbles (large) show where the roof leaks. The...

It's old, not charming. It smells old and looks tired. The bathroom faucet was running and I couldn't turn it off. The bathtub was stained and pitted. We ended up not staying and I couldn't get a refund.

It is a beautiful old hotel (with good customer service) from the outside but inside, they need some serious renovations. Dirty paint, bathtub full of stains, clogged sinks (both kitchen and bathroom), noisy A/C and squeaky floors. If you would like to be a part of the history, please go ahead but if you want some good night rest, stay...

We stayed here for three nights. This is a cool boutique hotel. Very spacious and clean. The staff were all great very nice and helpful. It was a easy 10 minute walk to Seattle center. Space Needle, museums and the must see Chahuly glass gardens( incredible). From Seattle center you can catch the monorail and then a 5-6 minute walk...

This hotel will be 100 next year. It's updated in some areas and it's a pleasant place, but be prepared because there is no elevator. I stayed on the 3rd floor and that's the top floor, so there was no noise above me, and I also had an extra quiet room by request. I suspect that the people below me...

My booking and arrival at the hotel was great. not only did we get helpful emails from Expedia, but also the hotel. Arriving at the hotel was nice, tiled entry way with an open door greeting to a grand staircase and smiling attendants. The hotel has a bar/restaurant "Tin Lizzy". It has very cozy and nice little nooks to hang...

This is an historic building and was an interesting space. My room was large, comfortable, and had all the necessary conveniences. As an old building, it shows some of the characteristics of its age. While some upgrading would be nice, it might destroy some of its historic character. The hotel is located in the Queen Anne district. There are a...
