If you are looking for something that is more affordable but still has good location and still trendy, check out Kimpton Monaco. You can easily walk to Pike place and the downtown shopping area. There is a parking lot across the street so you don't have to pay the expensive valet parking. There is a Starbucks also at the end...

Hello Vancouver, thanks for the great note, yes - our location is one of the many positive aspects of the property, you can pretty much walk anywhere you want to get to in the city from the hotel, actually all 4 Kimptons have great walking locations (it is Seattle afterall!) here at the Monaco - Mariners, Seahawks or Storm games...

First the good news: This hotel is absolutely beautiful and has a wonderful location. The staff are fantastic and will go way out of their way to help you. The restaurant, downstairs, is also quite good and reasonably priced. All of our complaints fall squarely under the category of "First world problems." Overall, we had a great stay. Still, these...

Jonathan! first of all you get full points for hiking - in the wettest year ever in the PNW, that is a great accomplishment. It is very hard for me to determine what room you were in, but we do have deep soaker tubs in one room type in the hotel, I don't know if that is what you booked...

We stayed here to see the U2 concert and Century Field. It's a short 10-12 block walk and works great - especially after the show. Kimpton's are always so nice. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely lobby and rooms. Wine and cheese happy hour, etc. We ate at the new restaurant and it was wonderful as well. Yummy and fun food...

Brad - hope we were what you were looking for. (that was painful, but I had to write it). Yes the location is so great for Century Field. Sporting events or concerts and yep a short walk to the Market or Westlake and the Monorail. Actually 3 of the 4 Kimpton hotels in Seattle have the same sort of great...

We have missed visiting here for the past couple of years and were very happy, though not surprised, that it maintains its excellence. The staff members are very friendly and attentive. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and well maintained. The lobby is a friendly place and we always enjoy the end of the day wine hour including the music. Add...

Thanks Kupuna, The team here has a lot of fun and it definitely shows as they have a great attitude despite how busy the hotel can be. This hotel like all Kimpton hotels has wine hour from 5 to 6 every day and we have music or a magician or your friendly GM there to greet and make your day...

The rooms (and windows) are small, but that is an acceptable trade off for the convenient location. The staff are great. They are responsive and friendly; in fact I have never had to open the front door for myself when entering the building. The wine hour is by far the crown glory. It is well attended, but not over crowded...

Hey Boston - thanks for the note - you are correct it isn't really a wine tasting, although we do feature Washington State wines and on some nights a local winemaker to talk about our premium pours. Each room in this hotel is a different shape and size and that will make some with huge windows, extra space and some...

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff. We were in the Monaco suite which was clean, spacious and had all the amenities you could ever need. The hotel is located just a few blocks from Pike Place Market.

Thanks Donna. The location of the hotel is one of the great features. just far enough from the maddening crowd (Westlake Center) but close to all you want to see here in the Emerald city. If the weather isn't working for your journey - then we have Outlier in the hotel, or Tulio up the street. Said it before and...

Flew down to Seattle to join up with a couple of friends for the weekend. We arrived at the Monaco a couple of hours before check in; however the staff was very accommodating and we got in our rooms early. Two things I particularly like about Kimpton Hotels; the staff and the fact they are very dog friendly. They always...

Hey Glenn, appreciate the note. We will get you into a room at 6 am if you arrive then and want a room and it is ready. Never an issue we try hard to allow you to experience the very best of the hotel and that is best done in one of our great rooms, although the lobby is pretty...

The hotel's lobby is impressive and the decor is decidedly different (in a good way). I was impressed with the comfort of the beds and especially the pillows. I noticed that there were different levels of firmness and was able to pick the one that was just right. The room was immaculate and was quiet both of the nights though...

Paul - great that you noticed some of the special touches. Each Kimpton has a different look and feel and that allows the GM to explore and focus on making each property different. This hotel was conveniently located in Seattle. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I loved the fruit infused water in the lobby. Hey Linda, thanks for the great note. Those big bottles in the bathrooms are filled with a wonderful product called Atlier Blum - the scent is intoxicating! and yes we have saved 90,000 little plastic bottles from going in a landfill, each year! I feel pretty good about that. Kimptonhotels.com outlines out environmental programs and shares great stories of our...
