I had a wonderful night sleep. The rooms are very comfortable with spacious bathrooms. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is very disorganised. They ran out of food and coffee 45min before the end, as more guests were arriving. However the waiter did his best to prepare fresh coffee and eggs.

We enjoyed our stay at Le Rempart. We were biking through the Burgundy region. We enjoyed to an excellent dinner in the hotel's restaurant. The room was clean, bright and airy. Although very close to a major road, the hotel is quiet.

The hotel is nice, dog friendly, we had a room where you take a lift to the first floor change lifts and go up to the fourth floor. The room looked over the roof but was a suite so can't complain. Tournus itself was a big disappointment, we arrived on the Saturday at 2 30 pm to be told that...

We arrived at this hotel to receive an okay welcome. We parked in the garage - difficult to access. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good bathroom and plenty of space. As others have indicated the televisions (there were two in our room) were quite small but this wasn't really a problem for us. We ate in the...

Tournus seems as if it has been changed inexorably by the proximity of the motorway and high speed train. However, this charming French hotel has a wonderful welcome, and very well appointed rooms. Everything is fresh and in excellent working order: the air conditioning, the plumbing, and hot water is very plentiful. Although adjacent to a main road, the windows...

Following a stay in Beaune, we took a train to Tournus and a two minute walk to this comfortable hotel. We had stopped here some ten years ago for an overnight break in the journey and we enjoyed the meal so much that we vowed we would return for a proper stay. As train travellers, we particularly appreciated the patron’s...

We have stayed at this hotel before and thoroughly enjoyed it as an overnight stop on the drive to the south of France. Last time we ate in the formal restaurant which was good but this time we ate in the bistro and I have to say we enjoyed the meal this time even more. The hotel is really good...

We stopped off for a one night stay overnight return from Spain. Great village and great hotel to stay at. We have our Oscar, small Shih Tzu, and he was made welcome. We enjoyed the location, hotel and would recommend the hotel and town for a visit

Good location, on the outer circle of this great little town of Tournus. Rooms are okay, good size, nice bathroom, easy to walk around for both of us. Sleep quality good, bed good, plenty of space for clothes, hangers, closet, etc. Has a parking garage, next to Hotel, very convenient. Breakfast was okay. But the highlight was a Michelin one...
