Wow!!! Great place to stay in Seward. Front desk folks were so helpful with local attractions. Resident dog Bella was a joy to cuddle when you're so far away from your own dogs. Breakfast was absolutely yummy. Close to downtown shopping and restaurants. Big thumbs up!

Hotel Seward is a historic hotel in Seward. You can see that its history is linked to the city's history and it is cool. You can also fell that it is an old hotel, but it is very well maintained, clean and functional. The location is perfect if you want to be close to the main attractions in town. Good...

We didn't like this hotel. Very old, the mattress was terrible. I didn't sleep all night. The smell was terrible as well. very old place. The bed was very small and the room as well. We won't come back.

Very nice hotel at the south end of town. There are interior hallways. My room was very quiet at night. There is no complimentary breakfast but there is a restaurant on the premises. They have a lobby computer for catching up on email if you still have a flip phone like I do. The location is good and bad: it...

Hotel was fine, staff were great, price was very reasonable. The lobby was filled with mounted hunting trophies. As a person strongly opposed to trophy hunting, I found that a bit saddening. Far prefer to admire and photograph these animals I. Their natural environment rather than celebrate the coward that can only appreciate them through a rifle scope.

Our party of four had two rooms located in the "historic side" of the hotel. The room was small and in desperate need of refreshing. Decor could be described as kitchy at best. Unlike some of the historic rooms, both couples had a tiny, but updated bathroom. The dorm size refrig doubled as a bedside table. The mattress was very...

At first the ecclectic decoration in the lobby stroke us! But the hotel is very nice!!! Lovely room, excellent service! Kind reception staff that helped us through our stay. They alao delivered our luggage to the cruise ship pier for free and in a timely manner which was greatly appreciated!!!

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, we were there in August 2016. We stayed in a corner room by the hotel sign. My recommendations as a hotelier myself are as follows, and are based upon our spending about $300/night for 2 nights: I'd change out the coffee maker for a Keurig or Nespresso machine; I'd get the WiFi fixed...

Tried to check in a 5 PM but our room was not ready. Room they gave us overlooked an orange metal room (about 10 feet from the window). That would have been ok but we paid $319 for one night. Hotel is very old. Dates back to 1905 for the Old Wing & the New Wing built in the 80's....

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. It's a typical old style hotel. The room was on the ground floor with private bathroom. Small, but clean. Could use a facelift. The mattress was very soft and this was not good for my husband's back problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enough parking around the hotel. The hotel is...
