We absolutely loved our experience here. The owners were very friendly, we had a fire on the beach, played Yahtzee on the floor by the fireplace, slept in the most comfortable we have ever slept in and then woke up and cooked waffles in the provided waffle maker/waffle mix. The home was beautifully crafted and very unique with the best...

This place is amazing!! You can see the most beautiful view of the mountains right from your bed! The home decor is perfect. Log cabin style furniture. This was an amazing get away to the most beautiful state in the country.

My wife, two teenage sons and I stayed at the Spruce House (which is one of the properties associated with the Alaska Paddle Inn) in July 2016 for a week. The house was in virtually new condition with stunning views of the water and mountains. I enjoyed walking by the water in the mornings as the world was waking up,...

Thank you so much for your review of the Spruce House. We are so happy you chose us for your accommodations. You are correct in that the restaurants in Seward are very expensive. It is nice to have a full kitchen for you to use while on vacation. We are happy to hear you used the house to it's fullest!!...

This place is AWESOME! I'm very late in reviewing this (stayed there in June), but let me tell you...it was a perfect stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and had nice decor, but the best part for us was the stunning view. I dream of going back! The host is friendly, very helpful, and gave us some great advice on...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Better late than never! I am so happy to hear you hiked the Harding Ice Field Trail! What an accomplishment. It is hard but very worth it! It sounds like you took advantage of some of the things Seward has to offer. You could stay here for a...

My husband and I stayed one night in the High Tide Room while on our honeymoon and it was fantastic! So much detail has been put into the exterior and interior decor. The bathroom and tiled shower are fantastic and the bed was very comfy. We loved the view of the bay from our moon and could see eagles and...

We would enthusiastically recommend the Kayak Inn to anyone visiting Seward to enjoy Alaska’s majesty! We stayed in “Low Tide” Room. It follows an enticing maritime theme and displays the great taste and excellent craftsmanship of the owners. It comes with an awesome view of Resurrection Bay and the snow covered mountains on the far shore. The room was very...

We stayed here as a couple on our honeymoon, in the High Tide Room. We were able to check in upon arrival and it immediately felt like home. The owners and their daughter are so friendly and live right next door. The room was stocked with some food essentials you might need, such as teakettle, plates, bottle opener, glasses, silverware...

The Paddle Inn is located via a dirt road a couple of miles outside of Seward on Resurrection Bay. It consists of two rooms: the downstairs known as the low-tide room and the upstairs, or high-tide room. Both rooms have the same footprint; however, the lower one has been divided to make for a separate sleeping and living room. We...

Thank you for your review, we really appreciate it. It was a pleasure having you stay with us for the five nights this August. I feel terrible the weather wasn't better for you. We spent two nights here after a cruise.
