You may want to call Murphy's to ask what their cancellation policy if you cancel more than 30 days out from your reservation - the folks at Murphy's are really nice and have always been easy to work with. I've stayed there many times over the past 4 years.
Expedia Cancellation fees
We do not charge you a fee for cancelling your booking, but the hotel might. Check the rules and restrictions in your itinerary.
Most hotel rooms are fully refundable with no penalty fees if cancelled by the hotel's cancellation deadline. If you booked a non-refundable room, you will not receive a refund if you change or cancel the booking.
How it works
We process your refund on the day you cancel your booking, minus any cancellation fees charged by the hotel.
We apply refunds to your original payment card.
Most credit card companies post your refund to your account within 2 weeks, and it will appear on your statement within 2 billing cycles.
To check the status of your refund / credit, contact your bank / credit card company 7 days after we process your refund.
