Nice room, and awesome food and staff at the Wilderness Lodge!! I would highly recommend the kayak trip as well. Arthur and JD from Sunny Cove Kayaking were great. We did the 8 to 10pm kayak trip, it was so peaceful at this time of day.

The stay was absolutely amazing..!! The place is immensely serene and mesmerizing.. Plenty of things to do or just do nothing and soak in the surroundings.. Food was superb, we did a small hiking trail, bon fire and could see whales in the ocean while enjoying the bon fire.!!

just a fantastic trip, the lodge, the staff, the food, all exceeded my expectations. I would recommend this to all a little on the expensive side but if you only plan on visiting Alaska once or twice I would recommend this in your itinerary.

My daughter had her wedding there in August 2013( first one held at the new lodge ). We had reserved all except one of the cabins and essentially had the entire place to ourselves. Beautiful location with beaches and wooded areas to hike. Cabins and newly constructed lodge were separated from the public part of the island and cabins by...

We stayed here for one night in early July - wish we could have stayed longer. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience not to be missed. There are eight cabins on the island, each with a queen-size four poster bed and a queen-size pull out sofa. The cabins are quite comfortable and equipped with all the amenities (even fresh flowers)....

We spent 2 days on Fox island during our honeymoon and it was awesomely relaxing. You're cut from the world (no wifi), there is only the wilderness, the few guests (around 10 pax max) and you. The main lodge has a fire place with very comfy couches and a giant window facing a scenic view. Kayaking is great. Best spot...

Really an amazing experience. The cabins are nice, but realize that there are no electrical outlets in the cabins, no hair dryer, no Wi-fi. You can charge up in the main lodge, but won't be able to in the cabins. The bed is comfortable, the cabins are well furnished, and the bathrooms are clean and everything works. The staff is...

This activity was booked for us through a tour with Alaska Railroad. We were in Alaska for 10 days, and this was our last stop. It was an excellent way to end the trip. Included was a boat tour of Resurrection Bay. The boat tour on both the trip to the island and on the return was narrated and very...

Six of us went on the overnight Fox Island Adventure with the standard whale watching cruise that was included. The accommodations were great, clean hot water, and fun rustic lodges. This is not the place to go with teens who are hooked on checking their phones every five minutes. There are no plugs in the cabins, and reception is spotty....

We stayed two nights in a nicely appointed and comfy cabin at the Wilderness lodge. There are only 8 cabins and each is steps away from the beautiful bay. Kayaks and guides were available for guests. The meals in the Lodge were outstanding. With only 8 guests during our stay, we felt like we were very special. The dinner menu...

“I don't think it matters -- it looked as if all of the cabins had about the same view.”

“It rains 90% of the time on Fox Island (per the staff), so the room closest to the lodge (Dall Porpoise) makes it nice so you don't have far to walk in the rain.”
