Enjoyed our stay at Mauna Loa... we had the one bedroom downstairs condo and it was spacious, we almost felt bad we didn’t have more people with us. Definitely raising the bar from our last stay in Kona. We liked being away from the center...More

Mauna Loa Village is approximately 2 blocks away from Keauhou Bay. It is also a small boat harbor. You can rent paddleboards and kayaks and tours are also available to Kealakekua bay. People do snorkel in the bay. Otherwise Kahaluu bay is approximately 2 miles by car. This is a fish sanctuary. Surfing is popular here too and surfboard rentals are available.
