room was clean-but the best part was the pleasant staff and people that live there. They made our trip enjoyable. They told us about good places to eat and and places to see. Very friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Everyone made us feel at home.

My family and I have been staying at Kona Reef Resort for many years now; however, before last week, our most recent stay was about six years ago. Kona Reef Resort has always been a clean, cozy environment, conveniently located near town. We've always had a pleasant experience (although it's a frills-free kind of place), so we've continued to make...

This was our 2nd stay for a 3 week vacation at the Kona Reef. We stayed in A15 before and was a wonderful, super nice experience. This time however we did not do so well. We stayed in A33. This unit has a super nice view, direct ocean front, and the location is fantastic for walking into the Kona village....

Aloha, A-33 is not managed by Castle Hotels & Resorts. My suggestion would be, to go directly to the owner of the unit or management company that you booked through and share with them your concerns so that they can follow up with you directly. Mahalo!

We stayed in a ocean view room. It was E-11. While it didnt have a full beach view, it was BEAUTIFUL what we could see from the Lanai. We had a corner room, and could see out over the pool area and the ocean front. We LOVED our stay there. Our dishwasher wouldn't work at first, within 10min of reporting...

You never know what to expect when you arrive at a condo that you have never been to before. We were a bit nervous but when we walked in but ended up very pleased. It was so nicely decorated, the view was awesome, and the location was just on the edge of Kona so it was easy to walk to...

We enjoyed our stay at the kona reef. The location is great and so are the views. We stay a month and would stay again. We stayed in 2 different units. The first was beachfront ground floor that we rented through the owner. We then move to a unit on the side with view of holn's beach. The owners we...

Aloha! In response to your comments regarding your check-in. Our departing guests have until 12pm to check-out time, and we do have a 3:00pm check-in time. The owner of this unit did offer to extend your stay for 2 days prior to your confirmed arrival date, but you declined. We did offer you the use of the pool facilities and...

We had an amazing vacationg in our stay in D24. Awesome location, right on the ocean. Local bogey boarders ride all day long on the waves ( do not attempt if not a local. Rocks everywhere and storng currents, but awesome waves if you can navigate). If you love the sound of waves crashing all day and night, then this...

We stayed in E22 and it was very nice. We had a beautiful view!! The only thing we would've changed is better instructions about how to check in and office open a few more hours (we booked through the Castle Resorts website as I know these are condos and some individually rented out. But the office personnel when we finally...
