My husband and I stayed at Mango Sunset for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We even had breakfast with their very own "Fairy Princess". The rooms were comfortable and well furnished; nights were wonderful with the doorwall open to the porch and the cool breezes and complete quiet makings for a very good nights sleep. Hans, Marsha, and...

Mango Sunset was a lovely place to spend our 2nd Honeymoon. The food was great, coffee fabulous, and we appreciated the tour of the farm. With the addition of the new master house, it will make the grounds even better. Location worked out great for us as it was close to everything we wanted to do. We could easily drive...

My siblings and I (four of us) decided to vacation in Kona two nights; we enjoyed our stay at Mango Sunset B&B so much we extended another night. The B&B is so close to town but not right in town. Very convenient location. We also were taken on a personal tour of the coffee farm by Hans and he patiently...

I am always slightly uneasy of returning to places that have given me happy memories for fear that things will have changed and I will feel let down. No such worry here however. Two years after my first visit I returned with my daughter to Mango Sunset in March 2009 staying a total of 9 nights. We had a most...

The good: This is a nice B&B in a quiet location. It is up the Kona hillside and so cooler. Some evenings we didn't go out, but just bought fast food to warm in the microwave provided, and had a bottle of wine while watching the sunset. The hot breakfast was always good, and there was free internet in the...

Thank you to Hans and Marsha for making our stay on the Big Island a hugh success. The advice on what to see and where to go, not the regular tourist spots, make our stay an adventure. At the B&B we were treated very well, the room was all that we needed and the breakfast Hans made for us each...

Imagine sitting on a spacious lanai and watching waves crashing in the distance as the sun sets across a sky colored with all the hues of the mango, and that's just one of the delights at Mango Sunset B&B. Our hosts, Hans & Marsha and their adorable daughter Karen welcomed us from the start and made us feel we were...

Short ride from the airport, all uphill. Easy to find, if you can read. Except for the birds, it was very quiet. The view was killer. Great sunset viewing from the lanai. The innkeepers were quite helpfull in aspects. Hans gave a wonderful coffee tour, explaining the entrie coffee process from plant to cup. The room was fine, with a...

The Mango Sunset sits in the hills above Kona. The location is just a 10 minute drive to the airport and Kona town center yet you feel a world away. The B&B is surrounded by beautiful tropical plants and coffee trees. The bedrooms were cozy and breakfast on the lanai overlooking the coffee fields were not only delicious (Hans' homemade...

Our family spent 12 lovely days over the Christmas holidays at Mango Sunset and we couldn't have had a more wonderful time. The location was perfect because we arrived at different times and multiple trips to the airport were an easy 10 minute drive. Even though the property was convenient to the airport it was peaceful and beautiful, high above...
