Nothing wrong here unless you are expecting a 4 star property. It took several days before I had a housekeeper who set up my toiletries. No fried eggs on the breakfast buffet. Much of the property is getting ready for an upgrade. Price seemed high for quality but was at a conference.

This property was the perfect home base for us in Kona. Grayden at the front desk welcomed us with with open arms and immediately made us feel like family. Everyone we've come in contact with at this property has been wonderful.

What the heck happened here!? This is my second visit here, the staff are distrusting and seem depressed. If I didn't have to stay here, I wouldn't choose it until they realized the true meaning of the balance between happy employees and happy customers. We stayed at the hotel during the week of Thanksgiving, and loved it. The rooms are spacious - which was a nice surprise. The pool is excellent and the view of the ocean from the pool is simply outstanding. No in-room delivery of food though, which is a bummer when you are traveling with family. Lack of direct beach access.... More

Booked through Expedia and as soon as I said the room was not "ocean view" as paid for, was told to complain to Expedia! Looking at a little slice of the bay.... And now I hear I will be charged EXTRA FOR THAT BOOKING! Buffett breakfast is $28 and cold. Simply wanted eggs Benedict and the were awful! At least... More

This price at the pool is just rediculus at $18 and they are not that good. Go to the harbor nearby at "Akule's" and get a great one for $10. The Wifi is spotty and the room numbers are confusing. My number is 4557 and it is on the 5th floor?

Great rooms, higher floors for views. Beautiful landscaping and waterfront setting. no beach here but great pools and short drive to snorkeling and beaches. Take in the Luau here, it is one of the best on the island. Great food.

Yes, it is a nice location. The view is nice but no beach. Yes you can snorkel, but there are MANY better places to do that. Charging Starbucks prices for coffee is over kill. You must use valets to move your bags, towel rental for the beach....yes, rental. Breakfast, well it is buffet only at $28, with NOTHING special. The... More

The service prices are much to expensive. Almost 5$ small cup coffe. Same for small cola (machine cola) Food is about 30-40% to high - when compare to quality. Service personal at hotel think all guests are extreme rich and willing to pay 200$ for rent of sun chair per day. Hotel rooms are old fashion but prices are extreme... More

I'm talking about the Sheraton Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. Where should I start? Perhaps at the beginning. After a beautifully scenic short drive from Kona Airport we arrive at the Sheraton Kona with its spectacular gardens and flowers. They also have a quaint little wedding chapel on the grounds. We got to see the lovely bride. Stopping... More
