I had a really great time at this hostel. The location is very convenient, the place was clean and had a lot of common spaces. Everyone is very friendly, especially Josh the manager who showed me around and took me to his favorites spots. I strongly recommend!

Great location. No bed bugs. I felt safe, and i never felt like I needed to lock up any of my stuff. The staff was great at giving me advice on which beaches to visit and what was close. No a/c, only fans, but for the price I can sacrifice. Clean facilities. Wear mosquito spray though!

- rude staff. we got no informations from them about the hostel or anything - too far away from stores, beaches, etc. You want to have a car if you stay there - furniture very old - only one bathroom for all the guests (if someone showers, you can't even go on the toilets) - not allowed to go upstairs,...

I left with at least 20 mosquito bites that's not an exaggeration! This hostel is in a great location it's a shame it isn't run better. There were ants all over the small oven and across the benches. At one point during my stay I saw a mouse run through the kitchen. One of the staff members was pushy on...

I stayed at the hostel for 6 days, w/ 2 nights in a private room and 4 nights in the co-ed dorm. When I had a problem with my room, they moved and accommodated me. The kitchen amenities were important for me as I could not eat out every meal. I cooked food in sufficient quantity to share w/ hostel...

The staff are great, thanks Ron and Eric for being very laid back, agreeable and well, nice to be around. Molly is super friends also! The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed comfortable. Plenty of kitchen utility and I could always get into a bathroom when needed. Located an easy walk from where the Hele-On bus drops you off...

We have stayed here almost a week now and are dreading leaving! The staff is super nice and laid back. The view from the lanai is beautiful and includes the perfect hammock to relax in! The rooms are clean and comfortable. It is a safe and welcoming place to stay (: I HIGHLY recommend staying at Patey's.

This is a fantastic hostel. The staff are super friendly, and go above and beyond to make sure you have a great trip. They took a bunch of us out snorkeling, lent us snorkel gear, and then when I left my sweater behind they shipped it to me the next day. (Thank you so much!) It's close to the beach,...

Best hostel ever! Didn't want to leave! Would definitely come back! Good location close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, e.g. 10 min walk to Walmart or 5min to the beach. AWESOME staff! Clean facilities. We even celebrated "Xmas" on Oct 1st ;) so much fun! But they ran out of cups... seems that everyone takes a souvenir ;) and if you're...
