Maybe if you had a guarantee that you were on the ocean side in a newly renovated room. Otherwise ... don't! Just checked in and the room smells, we had to call to get a coffee maker delivered, a technician to come to figure out internet access and a blanket to put over a dirty and torn love seat. We...

Having stayed at the Bali Kai several times before, we were disappointed with unit 323. It was not particularly clean, especially the shower/ tubs and not very well appointed. For instance there was no cutting board or automatic dish powder. The silverware drawer wants to fall out and the lanai screen did fall although when we called the desk a very...

I made a mistake when making my reservation but they were very helpful and accommaded our needs for our family. They even allowed us to check in a little earlier than we were supposed to so we could go do the sight seeing we wanted to do. There have beautiful views of the ocean, a pool and laundry facilities available....

We stayed here for the ironman race and had an excellent stay. Being on Alli drive it's only a 3 mile drive or walk to the main or happening part of Alli drive. You have a very nice view of the sunrise coming over the hill on the road side of the complex and on a clear day a great...

We are return guests and love the location. Best kept secret with comfortable and private location. Close to everything in Kona. Booked through Sunquest Vacations Kona. Comfortable stay with everything needed to feel right at home.

I felt ripped off by this establishment. They charge a $60-$85 cleaning fee in addition to the room rate. This seems exorbitant, I don't believe the hotel is paying that much for cleaning, and the fee is at least twice the amount of a resort fee that you may pay at a nice resort. The room wasn't especially clean and...

Internet did not reveal that: "Mountain side" meant the other side of the road, not just the land side of the hotel. "1 BR" didn't mention the bed was a murphy that effectively blocked access to the bathroom.

We were supposed to get a studio, but were upgraded to a one bedroom Oceanside, it was very nice and clean. Loved seeing the ocean and the turtles(honu). It didn't have air condiontioning but we live here so we are used to fans. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff was very nice. We would stay there again.

We stayed in one of the condo units in this hotel. You stop in at the front desk, and get your parking pass. Parking is under the hotel, with an exposure to the sea on one side. With the sea breeze, you'll need to clean your car windows around 2 x a week, or they get foggy with sea salt....

We stayed in unit 314. Great lanai, comfortable king bed, very nicely furnished and super well stocked kitchen. From our lanai we watched sunsets, sipped on tropical blended drinks, viewed the surfers catch the waves at Banyon Beach and spotted sea turtles up on the rocks to bask & warm themselves.
