Across from a teeny tiny beach you really can't swim in but perfect for a day or so stop over when there are other things you want to do. Friendly accommodating staff small but clean rooms and very centrally located. Not the "LAVISH" hotel I envisioned because I just assumed EVERYTHING in Hawaii was LAVISH!

I arrived late so the main parking lot was full. The security guard offered to show me additional parking within the same block and a shortcut back to the hotel. The staff was very warm and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and AC was available. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool as I had a morning...

This is one of several hotels owned by Hawaiians and the only one on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is clean, modest and priced very well with no resort fee. Rooms are cooled by fans and ocean breezes. Limited parking is $5 each night. You can easily walk to the Kona Pier and see where King Kamehameha and his...

The room and our one night stay would have been fine (especially for the price & location) had I not killed 3 roaches in our room! 2 in the room and 1 in the bathroom. Not cool! As other reviews suggest it is an older hotel and could use some improvements. The beds were comfortable and I didn't notice any...

I've stayed here a few times for Iron Man and always look forward to visiting again. They are a great fit for an occasion with wonderful customer care and the most comfortable beds anywhere. A true gem

I have never experienced so rude, unhelpful and tired, bad-tempered hotel employees on all my travels. Until someone recognize you, it takes a long time. If you ask questions, be aware that they react aggressively. The woman who is responsible for the housekeeping is one of the rudest persons I ever met. A valuable chain disappeared in my room. Earings...

Clearly an older hotel, but very clean, well maintained and comfortable. Plenty of parking. Nice, private pool area. Convenient short walk to shops and restaurants and to see the water. Right in the action of Kailua-Kona. Good value.

Great location, one minute walk to ocean, swimming, snorkeling, restaurants, and shops. Large rooms, balconies, clean, plus affordability. What more can you ask? We also stayed at Hilo Seaside and Maui Seaside during our recent trip, both an excellent value.

I wanted a hotel close to where I was I going to rent a Harley and this hotel is just across the street. Perfect location and great hotel. Staff is very friendly and rooms are great. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants Reviewed it on TripAdvisor and liked what I read. Great place. Two photos are from my balcony.

Mahalo for sharing your experience and photos of your stay with us! We hope you had a wonderful time in Kona.

We had low expectations when we first saw the hotel. It's exterior is not very appealing as it is a typical 70's concrete building, located at the intersection of two major roads. Once inside, though, the staff are very helpful and the rooms are comfortable. Our main quibble was that the location was very noisy, due to the adjacent street...
