I have been coming for years already to Payerbacherhof to host international training courses for youth workers, and I have never had a reason to complain about anything. The family who runs the hotel is extremely friendly and supportive. The food is amazing and uses regional ingredients. The rooms are cozy, and some apartments have a big terrace offering breathtaking...

Stayed on a Saturday night after a day's skiing at Semmering, and we received a lovely welcome from the manager. Our triple room in the ground floor which was perfect for us and our daughter - warm, spacious and had everything we needed. We decided to take the half-board option, and enjoyed the three-course buffet dinner in the hotel dining-room....

I stayed 2 weeks in the Payerbacherhof. I enjoyed every day in Payerbach. You can do so many things, like hiking, taken the train to the Semmering or Vienna. So you don't need a car. After your trips you can enjoy the rest of the day in the Spa area The meals at the Payerbacherhof are great and big portions...

I had the good fortune of staying here for 5 nights in June. The hotel, restaurant, and bar are run with family pride. Whether in the restaurant at night, or at breakfast in the morning, the owner made a point to greet us personally. I booked the basic room. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel is a 450m downhill...

Payerbach has very few hotels and this is one of the most decently located ones. Walking from the station, right at the highway. They provide bicycles on request on which you can explore beautiful places like hollental and other biking trails. Food is average. Beer is good. Price is the USP.

Me and my friends stayed at this hotel and I can say it is truly an unforgettable experience. That's why I have decided to write a review as this is probably the most welcoming hotel I have every stayed in thanks to the owner. We stayed for 2 nights with a half board and even though we booked the hotel...

I was a guest here as part of a group of about 15 for a week of training seminars. The accommodations were very nice, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. In fact, we tried to ask if they could provide smaller portions, but this wasn't possible (!!). It was wonderful to have the spa, including sauna and...

I have stayed in hundreds of good hotels around the world and have never written a review. The reason that I have decided to do so now, is because my son and I have just returned from a weekend at probably the most welcoming hotel I have ever stayed in. The host Heinz greeted us warmly as we arrived unannounced...

I just returned from a month long painting seminar held at the Payerbacherhof. I had a single room with full board. Heinz and Ina are wonderful hosts, doing everything they can to make us feel comfortable. The food was wonderful and gave me a great experience of Austrian cuisine. My room was very clean and cosy. I love what they...

“Sometimes if there are people in the sauna late at night, rooms directly above can hear the music so I would ask for a room as far away from the sauna as possible, just in case. The rooms above the Sauna are the new Frankl and Freud Suites and are lovely but if people are in the sauna late at night and have the music on, you will hear it.”
