Nice b&b in a good location close to the Gaislachkogl lift and out of the busy town centre. Friendly staff with good service and a decent breakfast. Excellent value, particularly if you don't need loads of facilities. There's a nice public swimming pool in the town as well.

Sölden stands for the full force of winter!Sölden's great winter ski area is directly connected to the glacier slopes by a number of ski lifts and gondolas called Golden Gate to the Glacier. Skiing enthusiasts can ski uninterrupetedly from the village of Sölden up to the glaciers at the elevation of 3,250 m

We arrived to be greater by the owner, who was very welcoming. The rooms we had where on the front of the pension. They were warm, with loads of storage, the water was always hot, although at certain times of the day we had to wait for a minute or two to warm up. With the window open the triad...

I was a little worried about staying here having read all the reviews, but it looks like the owner has read them too because we really enjoyed it. The rooms weren't cold - the heating is on all evening and into the night. There was always bacon and eggs at breakfast. If it ran out it got replaced after a...

Most of the people that were rating good this place were wrong, either because they did not go to Sölden a lot, either because they did no expect anything good. This was one of the worse places I stayed in Sölden, and I go there 3-4 time a year. There was no personal touch in the whole design, but just...

We stayed over New Year in December 2013 for a ski holiday. Firstly, the positives. The location is good if you want to escape the noisy part of town and is very good for the nearby gondola. There are plenty of ski hire/storage facilities nearby too. The manager at check in was very friendly and helpful and check in itself...

A quiet hotel with bus stops outside and just an easy 4-5 minute walk to the gaislachkogl tal gondala station where a great range of slopes await and the top. Hotel could offer free wifi but all in all you are well looked after. There is a great heated ski/ board room with heated boot pegs on the lockers so...

We wanted to go here with a UK Tour Operator, but their allocation was sold out by the time we were ready to book. Undaunted we managed to book direct, secured a bigger room and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. We booked our own flights and transfers, and learned that the owner will take bookings for...

The Waldheim is excellently located for the Glaiskogel (?) lift, a mere 2 mins walk. It is not well located for the other aspects of town, apres, shopping, food and bars etc. This said it is a great well priced and clean hotel with good breakfast. The rooms are immaculate and clean with fresh towels daily. The owner is freindly...
