I and my partner stayed at hotel Tyrol for seven nights in the beginning of March 2015 to do some skiing in Sölden and Obergurgl. We had a nice welcome and the room was well prepared. We arrived in the afternoon and was very happy that dinner was prepared for us already on the arrival evening. The hotel personnel was...

I was a part of a group of 25 Icelanders that went on a skiing trip to Sölden. We stayed on Hotel Tyrol. The hotel was great! The first night, we arrived so late the diner was closed, but they were so nice that they kept it open - just for us. A really nice thing to do, because we...

I must firstly say that I had a fantastic Ski holiday and that all about the hotel was fantastic. The staff where friendly, the rooms where of a good standard and very clean and the food was very good. The hotel is situated in the center of the resort which is good, and very bad. The biggest problem was "THE...

Very good clean hotel only downside is its too near the church bells and the road but hey-ho that can't be helped thanks for a brilliant week, wellness suite was a bonus after a long days skiing and I'm sure it helped with my injury which was self inflicted

Just returned from a week's skiing trip in Solden booked through Neilson. I was slightly concerned by some of the reviews on the site but should not have been! Great ski hotel - clean and cosy rooms with a fantastic spa/sauna area. Location is brilliant - a 2 min walk to the lifts and a good heated ski room, where...

Hotel Tyrol is basic but the food is decent and their prices are good value for what they offer, and like all hotels in the German speaking world, it is spotlessly clean. Their staff are also friendly and willing to help. It is in a good location close to the ski bus stop so you don't have to do too...

The Hotel Tyrol, located in the center of Solden is a good three star with better than three star food. The desk personal are friendly and helpful, though sometimes overwhelmed during busy check in/check out periods. The main lobby area is small, but there are comfortable parlors on one side and a large bar area on the other side. Our...

This was our fifth time skiing in Austria, but only our very first Solden experience. A quick work on Solden: it's less glamorous than St Anton (although the same penchant for displaying bottles of champagne EVERYWHERE), and less wild than Mayrhofen, but significantly more fun in the skiing stakes than anywhere I've ever been. It also had a surprising number...

Reasonable food, somewhat essentric staff, emblematic of a small farming town without the expected hospitality. The rooms are unbelievably small. The internet is for recreational use only. It is clean, a good sauna and not too noisy. The single rooms are not an option and the doubles are very tight. The staff is even interested in whom you are having...
