We booked through Inghams and paid extra for a 4th Floor larger room.

I've only visited St Anton in summer, i.e. not to ski. However I am a skier too, so I took note of the pistes/lift systems and there is definitely a regular ski bus (free with the lift pass) that goes round the village, calling at the lift stations. The same bus was running in the summer and there's a stop right outside the Hotel Arlberg. I'm not sure what time the last ski buses run from the lifts though, so I suggest you to ask the tourist office. They speak excellent English and respond quickly to email queries.
There are also ski lockers where you can leave skis/boots near the Galzig.
