The hotel feels luxurious and is well equipped for both families and couples. The spa area is gorgeous and caters for kids as well as adults.

I've stayed here many times and this year was the worst. They were full and didn't seem to care much about anything. We got a table we didn't like - threre are three very different areas in the restaurant. I asked if we could have...More

The Bergwelt is not ski in ski out! If you are having lessons at the ski school it’s a good 20 minute walk to the ski school meeting point by the Jenewein Hotel and another 5-10 minute walk to the nursery slope if you’re a beginner! Not funny if you’re carrying skis and wearing ski boots. The hotel does run a shuttle but it’s very busy first thing in the morning and we walked back several times as it was no where to be seen. The cable car to Hochgurgl is really easy, not sure if it’s all blue runs back. The Bergwelt is a wonderful hotel, we enjoyed our stay but it’s just a bit too far away.
