I can not over state how good this hotel is.
LOCATION simply walk out of the boot room , cross the road , down a lift to a moving walkway to where you will find two gondolas which take you up to the central hub of skiing.
The hotel is spotless , the rooms are both spacious and well equipped with everything you would expect. Safe , hairdryer , toiletries etc.
Breakfast is a buffet with a wide range of choices , hot & cold.
The evening meal is excellent with lots of choices including vegan.
There is a boot room with heated lockers where you can store not only your boots and skis but also has heated pegs for your gloves and helmet . There is skid z huge TV which shows the conditions on the slopes.
The staff are very helpful snd friendly.
There is also a large sun terrace for that essential apres beer.
The Hotel is close enough to the lively apres ski scene but far enough to ensure a good night sleep.
We will be back here.

Lovely hotel, spacious and clean room & friendly staff. Plenty of options for breakfast and choice of 4 evening meal options as well as afternoon tea from 4-5 (only little niggle was hot drinks not included in afternoon tea).
Hotel is located on quieter side of village about 5 minutes walk to gondola but you can rent a ski locker from the hotel at the gondola for about 50 euros for the week or use hotel ski and boot room.

Traditional/modern style Austrian decor, very clean, very well run. The staff are lovely.
It’s a five minute walk to the main lift and several good Apres bars, they have VIP lockers to Rent in the Pardatschgrat lift building big enough for all your ski gear €45 for 6 days, well worth it.
Great choice for breakfast, also a very good bean to cup coffee machine, they will do decaf from the barista machine if you want one.
Evening meals always had enough choice, more than adequate portions over 5 courses, one or two vegetarian/vegan choices each night

We have just had our first visit to Hotel Ischgl, for Christmas, and it certainly is a wonderful resort to ski in…
I felt I wanted to talk about the Hotel…
Now It’s staff are very warm and welcoming, and all super friendly….
The breakfast in the morning, are Superb very varied, and you can have wonderful omelettes, And eggs cooked in any fashion, and great smoothies to boot…
The evening menu, was superb a good choice of local meat and game & fish Dishes.
5 courses including cheese….
If you are a skier, it ticks most boxes…
But as a non skier myself, I have stayed in 27 odd Austrian hotels in the last 2 Decades
All four star, this hotel lacks a warm and comforting lounge to sit in during the Day with a nice log fire…
It’s bar and Day facilities do not open until 4pm each Day, so unless you want a sauna
You are confined to your room..
If you choose to partake of the pre Dinner post ski, cake or goulash you are charged for any coffees, or teas with it…
These teas and Coffees are of course always free in other 4 star Hotels..
I also feel that after staying in so many Austrian 4 star hotels..
This has been awarded on its food merit..
But not on the hotel itself, as the rooms are Dated, as the bathrooms…
And their does not seem to be reinvestment in the hotel…
So a decent hotel, but in our book a good 3 star, certainly not the standard that we are used to with a good 4 star…
And of course we were used to being spoilt on Xmas eve, as you usually are in the Hotels either with a glass of fizz, or a rendition of silent night..
Just an ordinary evening, I spoke to other English quests who were disappointed…
Overall, a good hotel…
But they make nothing memorable about the stay…

Lovely authentic, family run hotel with great personal and friendly service. 7 night stay so relaxing with fabulous food, massive choices and hearty and healthy options. So clean and sauna and steam rooms a perfect area.

Rooms with everything needed and great balcony spaces looking onto great mountain views.

Benefited from using ski lockers allocated to the hotel at the A2 gondola station - the cleanest and roomiest ski lockers ever seen from previous European ski trips!

6 min walk from the first section of bars and only 10 mins into main Ischgl area.

We booked this Hotel as a group of 7 blokes, with no expectation of what it would be like.
We were greated by a friendly and extremely helpful member of staff who had us checked in quickly, ski passes etc arranged and full instructions about Dinner/ Breakfast etc given.
Rooms were adequate, comfortable and warm.
We chose to eat in on the first night, and what a pleasent surprise. Great buffet style starters, soup and then a lovely main course and pudding. Nice wine and beer, and very friendly staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble.
This continued for the rest of the week.

All the staff were friendly and helpful, but special mention to the young restaurant staff who were superb.

Thank you for a lovely comfortable stay.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Every single member of staff who we met during our stay was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was amazing and the sauna was lovely and spotlessly clean. The staff were also incredibly helpful and accommodating with this week's covid 19- related chaos. Thanks to everyone at Hotel Ischgl for a wonderful stay.

The bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable and meals good. However, a big downside for this hotel is that there is very limited seating in the bar area and no lounge. If you are staying as a group, this is a problem. We decided to stop having a predinner drink there and go out instead, They offer a snack late afternoon which is welcome after a day's skiing but you have to pay for tea or coffee to go with it. What's that about other than penny pinching? We were a group of 4 and spent a lot on the expensive wine at dinner the first 2 evenings only to discover we were being charged €2.50 for each 500ml of tap water which is yet more penny pinching. We 've never come across this in Austrain ski resorts before and it really put our backs up, Although the hotel is very clean and comfortable, it's not a 4 star and I wouldn't stay here again.

The Hotel was excellent, we had a double room which was an excellent size. The room was was spotless on arrival and was maintained at that level by the excellent housekeeping staff. The food in the hotel was excellent. The buffet breakfast had everything you could think of and in addition you were offered a choice of hot options. The evening meals wet also excellent, 5 courses with a choice of 3 main dishes including a vegetarian and vegan option. We could not have asked for anything better. A truly wonderful hotel experience in Ischgl. Well done to the management and all the staff for providing such excellent service.

Skvělý rodinný hotel! My byli moc spokojeni. Obsluha byla moc milá a ochotná, jídlo bylo výborné, tradiční rakouské. Můžeme tento hotel jedině doporučit! 👌
