Stayed here February 2013. The hotel is in great position, the food is excellent as are the staff. Very confusing lighting system in the rooms so expect to be while sussing that out, the room was ok but i was not happy as I requested a room away from lifts or stairs and they put us right next to the...

We stayed at the Piz Tasna the first week in February. We arrived at 8.30 on Saturday night and were just in time for dinner. The food was excellent every evening, with unusual soups and dishes but I would agree with some other reviewers that the main courses were usually covered with veal jus, that drowned the flavours and made...

On arrival, we received a warm welcome from hotel owner Roland and his charming wife. We were are a party of eight men sharing four double rooms. The rooms are spacious and well decorated with separate beds unlike many of the Austrian twin rooms. The en-suite was clean and modern with all the essential bits and pieces. A door led...

Hey, first off lets put this review into perspective. Ischgl is one of the most expensive Ski resorts in Austria and therefore Hotels charge accordingly. The Piz is no exception and it is a very very good hotel but if they channelled a little more profit back into the rooms it could be exceptional. The shame is there is no...

After reading the T/A reviews we had really high expectations and were so looking forward to this break. Nothing seriously wrong. Food good, though they did serve every meat dish with a veal reduction that smothered the flavours somewhat. Good breakfast selection. Staff pleasant and courteous. Bit of a trek uphill from the Dorf tunnel. Awkward carrying skis.Minor issue. Things...

We have just returned from an excellent 2 week summer stay at the Piz Tasna, Ischgl. This family run hotel is of a very high quality - particularly the food (cooked by Roland the owner). His whole family are very friendly and run the hotel well. They also all speak very good English, so we weren't too concerned that our...

We stayed at the Piz Tasna as a group of (6 middle age) male skiers. Roland (the owner) and all his staff made sure that our stay was 'perfect' (as he would say). The hotel rooms are large and the bathrooms modern with great facilities. The food each night was excellent ( although we were a little worse for wear...

A very nice family hotel, clean rooms, adequate breakfast. What really annoyed me however is the fact that the hotel has taken advantage of its good position on trip advisor and thinks it is fair to charge 250 Euros per night for a 4* hotel. Also the hotel rooms don't have air conditioning. Apparently this is normal for Ischgl but...

We have just returned from a week in this hotel. The service was very helpful and the food very good. The ski lift is not far when one uses the lift/travelator. We like hotels to be quiet (noise wise) and the location balances being convenient while being close to everything you need. We would throrougly recommend this hotel.

I don't really want to say what a great time I had staying at the Piz Tasna because it will only encourage more people to try it, and fall in love with it, but I have to. It was 1st class. I really enjoyed everything about the hotel but for me it was the food that was just sensational. Where...

“Sme rooms have great views out over the village and towards the big hills. I think all the rooms will be very comfortable. The rule in Ischgl is that after 23:00 until 06:00, no vehicles are allowed in the village driving as far as I know. It was certainly silent for our visit these at night.”
