A "sustainable" HOTEL IN PANORAMICAL LOCATION The Alpin Juwel impresses with its unique panoramic location directly on the ski slope and in the middle of the hiking area. The four-star-superior house scores with modern and traditional architecture, where only natural materials were used. In the Designhotel Alpin Juwel the focus is fully on the topic of sustainability. All levers are set in motion to achieve this. In the restaurant, seasonal, puristic and exclusively with biological and regional products without industrial products and flavour enhancers. Cleaning is done completely without chemicals with steam, to save water, economy valves are used, organic waste is processed to fertilizer and much more. In the Alpinveda SPA you can be pampered by therapists from Sri Lanka, the 200m² roof terrace invites you to relax, the Over the Edge panorama pool is spectacular. "Exclusive, individual, different" is the credo of the house and runs through all departments. In the Alpin Juwel you can enjoy exclusive living, healthy Austrian cuisine, cosy ambience and a unique sleeping experience in the best location with a view over the whole valley. In the Alpin Juwel family everyone is equal... we are looking forward to YOU

Nearly perfect Hotel for a good price if you get a offer. Breakfast, afternoon snack and dinner with very good ingradients. Wellness could be bigger if you want to relax, but they plan a renewal. Best thing is you get the joker card which means you can use all the mountain drive activities for free!

We stayed here, 2 families together. We booked late due to being let down by another company. The hotel location was fabulous, right in the centre of Hinterglemm. Getting into the slopes was easy, a 2 min walk to the slopes on the same side as the hotel or 3 minutes to the opposite side slopes. This gave unlimited skiing possibilities. I usually choose ski in ski out but the walk was easy and none of the kids even mentioned it. The ski hire shop was next door and were so helpful. Our rooms were virtually perfect, 502 and 616, ( minor noise in the morning from deliveries and snow clearing ). There is an older and a new part to the hotel. We were in the older more traditional part which was wonderful. The food was really good - A special shout out to Sam and Roxy for superb service in the restaurant plus our other waiter who was also fabulous. ( I’m really sorry, I’ve forgotten his name) The breakfast was excellent, the apres ski food (3-5) ideal and evening meal was delicious and varied. Our teenagers loved the gym, the snooker and bar football. My friend and I loved the spa which always had space despite it being half term. I had a really great massage with the SriLankan masseur. We will definitely book again. The hotel was already almost full again for the same time next year. We have stayed in numerous hotels in Hinterglemm and this was certainly an absolute gem.

Hotel in the center, not very close to the ski lifts. Two buildings, one historic, one modern. You must always use the lift to move around. Garage not garage because it is a covered car space. Good cuisine especially by Austrian standards, a bit monotonous in the buffets. Old spa and indoor swimming pool, 70s / 80s style, nothing to do with the modern spas that can be seen in many Alpine hotels of the same level. Attention to the rooms to choose from, because there are the modern ones, nice, and the old ones, Austrian style of the past now out of fashion. The most interesting part is the organic attention, in foods and environments, and the naturalistic and Ayurvedic philosophy, with the search for positive energy through food and the environment, which sees in the owner Alex a sort of yogi / guru of vital research, of harmony and aura. In short, if you talk to him it will seem to be in an oriental philosophy center rather than in an alpine hotel. For those who believe it can be an interesting experience, personally we would have preferred other things, but the setting desired by the property must be respected. Prices in the norm of structures of this level, but given the various shortcomings, the very poor Spa, and the not generous size of our room, in particular the bathroom, seemed excessive to us. We won't be back.

thank you very much for the feedback. Our wellness is small but nice. Soon we will invest here & build it even bigger. Our Crystal Rooms are in the existing house and as described on the homepage in the traditional Austrian country house style. If we haven't met your taste here, we recommend our Rubin Rooms, built in 2012, which are kept in modern style. Yes, we are organic all along the line. We appreciate what nature gives us and love to be a part of it. Always looking for the special in the simple, we try to contribute to the big picture. Our credo is: exclusive, individual and different... and different is also definitely Alex, who is looking for the positive in everyone and everything. Too bad that we could not impress you. We wish you all the best

thanks a lot for your feedback. You have been in the Crystal Area where the rooms are kept in the traditional country house style. The rubin Rooms are in modern style and are recommended to all guests who do not have the country house style on their list of favourites. All the best and we would be happy to see you again

Our first time in Austria during summer time, and we didnt know what to expect. We spend 4 nights in a room with great view (room 516), and very spacious for a family of four. From the moment we entered the hotel, we felt welcome. The staff is super friendly, smiling and doing their best to give you good service. The hotel is perfect when travelling with kids. Our kids (7+10 years) had a great time playing in the kids room, swimming in the heated pool, playing and having fun. There is an indoor and an outdoor heated pool just next to each other, with nice lounge area to relax in. We got a Joker card on arrival, wich gave free access to a lot of activities in Hinterglemm and places nearby. The food can also be recommended. The morning buffet has a great varity and so does the dinner. We can highly reccomend this hotel, and we will for sure chose this place, if we come to Hinterglemm again.
