Our party all had the lovely sunny rooms at the front of the hotel that were light and airy. All the staff were very friendly and it was run for English people so the catering arrangements were all very suitable, if not spectacular. We liked that it was not big, quiet and well run. BUT it is some distance from...

I'm surprised by all the 5 star ratings as this hotel is definitely not worthy of 5 stars and I have stayed at many over the years both for vacation and business. However, it does have some good points: 1. Its in a quiet location (one of the reasons we chose it). 2. Is within 10 mins walk of the...

We have just returned from a great holiday at the Hotel Ferienhof. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and the chefs provided exactly the sort of food you need on a ski holiday, tasty and filling. The wine selection needs improving but outside of this the food and drinks were very good. The rooms were clean and comfortable...

Sadly there was a group of young 'Professionals' that just did not know how to behave and considered that Apres Ski should continue during dinner. Despite being spoken to, their behaviour only quietened down for two days...

Mayrhofen in Austria is a wonderful place, but next time I go it will not be to the Ferienhof. There's nothing wrong with the place: good sized clean rooms, friendly and (mostly) helpful English lads and lasses taking good care of you. The problem is: it's like an English school holiday, complete with school dinners. I know this is comfort...

Our room was great cleaned daily with tea and coffee. The cosy bar was a great place to chat after a day on the slopes with the...

This was one of the best holidays I have been on. From the start of the holiday to the end, we all received brilliant service. The hotels room was always clean and tidy. The food at every meal was spot on with a choice to choose from. The staff were at hand when needed, but also able to have a...
