Stayed here in late March for 1 week half board. We stayed in a small suite which has 2 separate bedrooms rather than the traditional Austrian twin (a board down the middle of a double bed.) The room was for ski accom standards, very large and very comfortable. The free wifi is also very good. At this price very, very...

Myself and my partner stayed for one week from the 7th February. Kaprun is a small town with a couple of nice restaurants, bars and a supermarket and a good centre to ski at the Glacier and in Zell am See (both are in opposite directions) with regular buses. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. We had...

The Mitteregger is staffed by friendly people who want you to have a lovely time. our room was spacious and comfortable with a good hot shower attached. The Spa area is very nice. The free bus to ski school stops outside and its a short walk to the bottom of the Maiskogel (the slope in town) or the bus to...

Very welcoming staff; reception always friendly and looking to help you. We stayed half board and the dinner every night was good. The soups were all fantastic and everything was well presented. The only slight thing was that we got a bit fed up of choosing between different types of pork 3 days running - or vegetarian option. Don't choose...

First visit to Kaprun, in search of snow on the Kitzsteiner ( which was great), found the Mitteregger through Tripadvisor and got a fast friendly response offering a deal for our group. A great find: very comfortable rooms, modern bathrooms, typical Austrian charm, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, very good evening meal, ski bus stop outside. Perfect: three star but...

This hotel is very conveniently situated. The free skibus stops right outside and is only a short walk from bars, shops and restaurants. The building is traditionally decorated. Some rooms have been refurbished and are very nice. I was in a room that had not been done up but it was very comfortable: huge room with sofa, table and chairs...

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday in Kaprun staying at Hotel Mitteregger. We were a group of 8 friends who enjoy walking. The hotel was excellent, all the staff were courteous and friendly and very willing to help with any enquiries. The food was excellent, evening dinner 5 courses with a choice of main dish. 4 of...

Stayed here during the school Easter break 2014, hotel staff were friendly, rooms quite basic although clean and fresh, we also had a large balcony. Half board - food was good but not exceptional, kids choices were very limited. Ski bus stopped right outside the hotel which was great. The hotel is well situated right in the town, so you...

We have just returned from one week in the hotel . The hotel is traditional and welcoming and the staff very helpful . We had two twin rooms , unfortunately previous guests had not observed the no smoking policy in one room and it reeked of cigarettes. The only other room available was on the top floor, a lovely room with...

Just back from our second visit to this hotel . This is a very friendly hotel who make you feel like a member of the family. We had two rooms this time rather than a family room ( children now 12 and 14). This was a definite success. Plenty of room in both rooms , our room on third floor...
