This family run hotel is situated near the town centre. The rooms are large and tastefully furnished, lots of space and balcony with a lovely view. The bed was very comfortable, large bathroom and toilet extra. A small fridge is also provided for your own private use. They also have a lovely spa and heated swimming pool which was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. We had half board which I can highly recommend as the food was excellent. One evening we also had an 8-course Gala dinner. Weather permitting you can also sit on the terrace. Breakfast was also very good with cold and hot dishes made to order. The staff are very friendly and helpful and will advise you on hikes in the vicinity, of which there are many. They also issue you with the Sommer Karte, and this gives you access to many things including cable cars and bathing areas free of charge. Parking is also available. Highly recommendable.

We enjoyed each single day in Kaprun and Kaprunerhof. There is so much to do in the area. The hotel itself is beautiful place to stay. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Our children loved always smiling Aneta-thanks for all the care! Food was delicious and there was no problem to prepare gluten free meals for our daughter. Rooms were very well cleaned. And wellness area is worth visiting after all day hiking. Thank you everybody at Kaprunerhof!

I stayed one week in this high standard hotel with a big group of cyclists. It was a great and flawless experience. The hotel is luxurious and well equipped with an amazing indoor swimming pool and sauna facilities. Very comfortable room with superb bed and good atmosphere. The kitchen crew is outstanding. They cooked wonderful dinners with great quality ingredients. Delicious breakfast with nice variety of food. Thank you for an outstanding week!

This is a fabulous Family run Hotel just 5 mins walk from the Centre, run impeccably well by Stefan and Anna who clearly know how to do things correctly. Super clean and smart, this is a typically Austrian Hotel with Staff who obviously enjoy working for the Family, as they all seem happy and incredibly polite/friendly. The Half Board is well worth taking, with very fine food especially the Gala night (every Sunday), breakfast is enough to see you through the day, but there is cake in the afternoons if you need it! Spa facilities and pool are equivalent to a very expensive Health Resort, again immaculately clean and very calming on the muscles after a days hiking/cycling. A lovely place to unwind and refresh - thank you Family Unterkofler, your Hotel is fantastic.
