Had a pleasant stay at this hotel! Good breakfast, right next to all the restaurants downtown and just a quick trip to the lake. They offered ear plugs for those rooms near the street. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for two nights and really liked the hotel. We had a huge room, with separate toilet, bathtub, sitting area. No kettle or coffee or tea in the room, as mentioned. All very clean. Service was friendly and efficient, especially the waitress in the dining room who worked practically alone and was incredibly quick. Excellent breakfast. We borrowed... More

The Leitnerbrau is a no-nonsense hotel: rooms clean and functional, bed comfy, I liked the fact that the loo was separate; it opens onto the main square; the Wirstkultur restaurant which sits within the hotel is fabulous; there is a bike store if you are cycling....BUT...there is road noise if you have the windows open which we did, as it... Arrived after a long drive from the south coast of England. We found the hotel without trouble. Parking was not a problem. We were checked in quickly and without fuss. Big 3 bedroom family room. Plenty of space to move about. Separate toilet and bathroom. Everything spick and span. Quiet bedroom although having a bar/club outside, with a nice balcony... More

We stayed here for the final night of a walking tour, hotel to hotel, on our way back to Salzburg airport. Mondsee is a very nice small town, busy with tourists who mainly come to see the film location used in the 1965 film "The Sound of Music", in St Michael's Basilica, which is right opposite the front of the... We went there for one night upon a lastminute booking. Positive features: kind staff, good breakfast and a wide room (for 3).Negative points: the beds are rather noisy they seem old and to be renewed, no good wifi available in the room. In the bathroom there were available some ear plugs, lucky enough we did not need them. The Hotel... More

We were booked into this hotel as part of a Headwater cycling holiday. We were upgraded to an apartment which was perfect. Staff were very welcoming & the food delicious. The rooms were spotlessly clean too. I would definitely come again. Mondsee itself was great too - lovely restaurants and lake swimming.

Nice quiet location, park and walk to restaurants, center and beach. The bonus suprise was the free beach entry cards the hotel supplies. As previous contributors have said the breakfast really is great. The only negatives were that the hotel did not have air conditioning and when we tried ro cool the room by keeping the window open we had a... More

We arrived, tired from a long day of cycling, into the car park. The receptionist came out to meet us, guessed right who we were, welcomed us - and it only got better from there! We were given the most glorious, huge, Italianate room with a balcony - room was big enough to dance in! The furnishings were beautifully old-fashioned... More

I stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel was only a short walk from the bus station. We were greeted by very friendly and helpful staff and was given a room that was very spacious and clean. Overall my experience here with the hotel was great and I really like the hotel staff from the front... More
