Cabin was first rate. Clean, well decorated, and cozy. Firepit with grate was appreciated for grilling, and there was a batch of firewood in the cabin for a campfire. Bathroom had a granite vanity and the kitchen was small but clean. Housekeeping was very friendly and kept the cabin in great order, in fact made up my son's sleeping bag...

Cute little cabins. They have a little kitchenette and a nice porch for star gazing. The rooms have a tv and air conditioning as well as a fireplace and an outdoor fire pit and picnic table. I would have loved to stay longer. The only con was that the beds were uncomfortable.

We hesitated on going on $55 per person chuck wagon dinner at first because we thought it might be hokey with lots of screaming kids. We are so glad we decided to go! It was great and so much fun. Cowboy Keith is the real deal cowboy. He had stories about the Black Hills and we enjoyed his singing. This...

Our "sleeping cabin" was lovely and comfortable. Fireplace, 2 queen beds, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom - all very roomy and easily accommodating a family of 4 or more. The decor was just what you would expect in a log cabin, the bathroom nicely modern, the cabin was air-conditioned as was our cabin @ Legion Lake, they also have satellite...

The food and service we received was some of the best we've ever had. Our server Jake did an excellent job of taking care of us and was timely. The food we had was unique and very tasty. The price was good and considering the environment and quality of food it was even better. The setting is excellent. We went...

While camping at Custer we had 2 meals in the Blue Bell Lodge. Both times service was quite slow, drink orders were incorrect once. The food was good, not outstanding. The bar is very cute with saddles as bar stools, but otherwise it was rather unimpressive.

We stayed here with our 2 small children July 2016 in a one room cabin. Our log cabin was quaint and very nicely western. The cabin, beds, bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Nice size with a small kitchen (no stove) and dining table and couch sitting area. The drive into the park is beautiful and the blue bell area...

I came here for dinner with my wife and grand kids, ages 9 and 11. The kids were happy with the hot dogs, served with lots of Fries. My wife and I split a meal, and it was way small, except that we stole some of the kids' fries.(There were a lot of fries) The cornbread served with our shared...

We noticed that the pictures on the website is not accurate for the housekeeping style cabins. These cabins are dated and according to the staff that this is a historical building and cannot be updated or modernized except basic updates. The saving grace here is the bunk beds which my kids adored. In our cabin, there was a resident mouse...

“Some cabins are much newer than others and they are more pleasant in every way. I believe the cabins in the 20s are the newest.”
  • The kitchen was lacking a LOT of basics but we were ready for pancakes!
  • Even the phone was sticky and dirty. A little 409 and a sponge would go a long way here.
  • lots of mold around the tub and in the grout.
