I bought 1 offer and when I redeemed it they put more than 10 obstacles in my way to not redeem it and reading the comments I better asked for a refund (and I hope they return it)
Don't buy from them, terrible customer service.
They do not give options, it is when they want and they add restrictions that were not stipulated at the beginning.

They put me in the last room upstairs
Climbing many steps in the rain
With uneven floors, no railings and no night light on the stairs.
No room service in case it's raining.
As for the cleanliness it's fine but
Just a toilet paper for 3 days and two nights.
The breakfast very good and assorted, I give 5 points, but lunch and dinner if not so good in terms of its taste, I give 2 points.
The place where the hotel is located is very beautiful and quiet.
The only thing that the entrance street is under repair and is half dangerous with machinery.
First, the good part:
- The hotel has been recently renovated and is in very good shape. The rooms are big enough, LCD TVs in every room with kid and movie channels.
- The hotel restaurant was very good. Varied menu, very reasonable prices.
- The staff was very friendly and helpful. Always tried to help and were very attentive.
- There are a lot of activities to do right on the hotel property: A single zip-line ride, tubing down the river (5 minutes only), fishing for trout in a pond, horseback rides, and more. The kids loved all the activities.
Now, the bad:
- Two of our rooms had the back luck to share a faulty water heater. For 3 days, we almost didn't have hot water. Eventually they fixed the problem, but they refused to give a credit for the problem, either with a discount, a free night, or something. That was bad.
- There are no phones in the rooms. If you want to talk to the lobby, call them on your cell phone. If you don't have a cell phone, you need to walk out to them. A hotel like this should fix the problem asap.
- Wi-fi internet, although free, is very slow and seldom reaches the rooms.
All in all, we had a great time but wish the water situation would be fixed.
Be aware that the area is windy and cold (about 18c), so take a warm sweather or jacket.
Things to do while in the area:
- Very close to the hotel you'll see two or three strawberry dessert places, which are great and a local treat.
- Go white water rafting. Look up Panama Rafters, we had a great time with them. Children as small as 5 years old can go on the raft.
- Try to set up a 4x4 ride through Boquete
- Visit the farms around the area, many have eco-tours where they show you around the horses, cows, flowers, etc.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. It was algo advantageous from that angle that place was not very busy.
Room was clean. My only issue here was availability of warm water in showers. The water was not warm at all though nor was it cold either. Temperature made shower not pleasant.
They advertised the pools yet they were empty during our stay. Nobody said that during our reservation and our Kids were interested on hanging by pool.
The playground next to the river was just ok as it is old and needs updating/repair.
Restaurant was not very good. Food was just ok but there were lots of flies/insects inside building, making eating not enjoyable.
In general, this is a good place for price and would return in future.
We were struck by the welcome, the cleanliness and the willingness to help with anything we wanted. When I enquired about the price it really was a few dollars more, and I gather some flexibility. The grounds were immaculate, several acres of land, water rafting on the river, and I understand there are trails through the grounds. The hotel is well situated for visits to Volcan and Amistad, and the local environment is very attractive.
The food in the restaurant was freshly cooked, well presented and tasty, with a good choice.
We were the only guests in the hotel, probably due to exceptionally bad weather in the whole of Panama. We felt that the hotel needed to come alive with more guests and then it would be more buzzy, the only thing it lacked was vibrancy.
There is a lot to see in regards to the ecosystem. We hired a guide who had her own car. Even though the owner of the agency stated a different price, when he got there he said it would be double if the guide drove. We opted for the guide and her car as it was a stick shift car and she is familiar with the terrain. I guess the owner of the company thought one of us would drive and the guide would just talk to us about the different parts of the countryside. We did see a lot of the countryside. Much to see. Don't miss the beautiful Jansen Farm which has a coffee plantation. The coffee is delicious! We bought one bag and wished we had purchased more. We also went to a farm where race horses go to end their run. Beautiful thoroughbred horses. A wonderful setting with lush plants, flowers and of course, a gift shop. Make sure that you try the coffee everywhere you go if you are a coffee lover. However, beware of instant coffee. That seems to be popular there as well.
We enjoyed the hotel and the tours. There is a spa. My sister booked a massage and said it, was fine. The pool is small and the water is cold. So, if you like cold water and sunshine, then by all means take a nice soak.
We would go back.

"We had a King room in probably the cheapest part of the hotel, but it was faultless, well designed, ultra modern bathroom."Read full review
