I was on a group trip with my college and we stopped here for a night. Pretty rough, I gotta say. My sister woke up to ants in her bed. Bathrooms not very clean. Just... a little too gnarly for us. Would not recommend.

The hotel was ok but as the other travelers stated the bathroom was dirty. I was not offered any meal or drinks and was hardly spoken to. Needless to say I moved on to a hotel down the street and stayed there my following night.

Sac Luc was delightful. I am 61+ solo american male traveller. I had a single room with bath a great value at 65Q about $6.00USD. The owner, Erwin, is a certified guide to Tikal and was able to show me out of the way places at Tikal and very personable. His Italian food is some of the best I tasted...

It's cheap.... Ok, we stayed in the dorm, it's a palapa with 4 individual really awefull beds with 'mosquiteros' (a thin cloth for avoiding mosquito bites), and the bathrooms are dirty and anybody can see you! And for a woman that's a bit uncomfortable.

I'll start with the positive: The private room's view was beautiful overlooking Lake Peten Itza; the room was large for just the 2 of us: one double bed, two singles and a hammock; we felt safe; the town is very cute and a good central location in Peten district; and the owner and son are friendly and gave the rooms...

Our water completely broke the night we stayed and the owner tried to sell us a ticket to Lanquin for double the price! If ur visiting Tikal stay in Flores rather than...
