Our stay here was pretty close to perfect. A little noisy from other guest rooms but nothing major. Our room was clean and the bed was super comfortable!! Close to the french quarter. Will definitely be back.

Overall aesthetically pleasing hotel, not too far from the French Quarter. The food at the hotel was delicious. The coffee, front door and greeting employees were professional and sweet. Check in staff not that friendly. The rooms are very nice but you can hear everything going on out in the hall. So, all the late nighters from Bourbon street are...

My second time staying here and again, very comfortable. Great restaurant (Compere Lapin) in the hotel. Nice to have a communal workspace in the lobby, and a coffee bar. The rooms are not large, but very comfortable. I'll be back there the next time I am in NOLA.

The hotel and staff was a wonderful experience! We would definitely return to this hotel again . The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely fabulous! Location is great just far enough from the craziness of Bourbon Street , but close enough to walk all the sights of NOLA !!

I instantly fell in love with my artistic and quirky room! All the employees are very friendly make me feel very welcomed. The room is functional and very comfortable. I booked a window room but my window faces an awkward "shaft" structure of the building. Little light comes through so I might have be able to save a coupe of...

We had an one week stay in June, amazing watching thunderstorms from window and the hotel is a great launching point close to trollies, mall, museums, and depending on how comfortable you are 15 min walking distance to French quarter and waterfront/steamboat your. Rooms are stylish, interesting industrial chic decor, clean, hardwood floors are so much nicer than carpet, exposed...

Thank you so much for your amazing feedback! I love hearing that you enjoyed your overall stay with us while you were in New Orleans. You make a really great point about the disposable utensils for room service, as a hotel we are doing everything in our power to be more green. Please come stay with us again next time...

Very personal staff. Room was clean and uniquely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Loved the brick wall and exposed piping. Our window didn't have a view but instead looked out to a brick wall. The bathroom was small. We could hear everything the cleaning staff were doing Bc the closet was right next to our room.

Absolute gem of a hotel & restaurant in a great location in New Orleans. I recommend that you go see Abigail at the bar - she is the friendliest most wonderful person we met in NOLA and her drinks are absolutely amazing! Also, super comfortable beds, helpful staff, and wonderful atmosphere.

The building, including the main common areas and individual room, was beautiful. I appreciated the design. There are small things that could be better, like more even lighting throughout the room so all spaces are more easily used, but the bed was comfortable and the furnishings were lovely. I'd stay here again.

I really can't fault this hotel in any way. The staff were wonderful and the decor was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and the location was also great being a five minute walk from Bourbon St, the Casino and Aquarium. If you are coming to New Orleans and stay here you'll be very happy.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
