This is a great -- and unique hotel. It has character, and the staff are very responsive. My only difficulty was the loud creakiness of the floors, which affected my sleep the first night and generally affected my level of comfort.

This is a very hot spot for good reason. The transition from old warehouse to very comfortable common area & guest rooms is accomplished. Definitely search the website for the room of your choice..some have no windows for example. Ours was very comfortable with a beautiful brick wall. The bed was very comfortable and we had two large windows overlooking...

Could be so much more if they took care of their customers.... Rude employees at coffee shop. Room not made up. No bill printed. No toothpicks? Noisy AC! Dark bathroom! Carpet not vacuumed. Nice valet!

room really makes you feel like youve time traveled a bit. clean with 60's retro styling with modern touches. impressed with organic soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The front desk check in and check out was super efficient with no problems even booking from a 3rd party source. Again awesome and interesting room all the way to the leather...

Bad experience. I DO NOT recommend anybody to stay in this place, ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF A HARASSING PERSON THAT WORKS AT THE DOOR OF THE HOTEL. He is a joke guy that indeed invade your privacy ALL THE TIME. Other issues were: late check-in, confusion in setting up the reserved room (numbers of beds), bad quality service and food in...

Easily within walking distance to the convention center and French Quarters, the location was a great balance for business and fun. The room was clean and quiet. My only complaints were the small hallways (needed to maneuver through them even to get to the elevator) and stairs to get to my room after the elevators, complicating transport of rolling luggage.

5 out of 5; Old No. 77 offers a unique experience that fits perfectly with the character of NOLA. I can't speak highly enough of the staff, ambiance and design of the hotel. I found out about it using Google maps and didn't know what to expect on arrival; but the whole experience was beyond my expectations. I hope to...

Good location and atmosphere. Located close to conference center and only 10-15 minutes walk from French Quarter. My room was not impressive though, with a window that was not really a window since it was located in a shaft......but I should maybe have upgraded from the Deluxe Queen. Looks like the better room have better value for money

We had a wOnderful time at the Old 77! Great location, service, food and staff! We will stay here again and recommend to our friends. Because it is a smaller site, you feel like family instead of a customer. The ddecor and furnishings were fun and the rooms comfortable.

Great sense of time travel and modern current feel. Location was great. Most enjoyable experience for my first time in the Big Easy. The hospitality put you right at ease. The buttermilk drops they had available in the morning were a ritual for me. Yum ! Bartenders know what they're doing , and do not disappoint.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
