We stayed here for five nights and loved it. This is a renovated building and they did a great job. We took an Uber from airport, arrived and were greeted promptly. The lobby is beautiful. We were upgraded to a king/king room on the third floor. Beds were comfortable. Room was large as was bathroom. Good water pressure. We were... More

I would like to thank Kaci for the great service and making my girlfriend and I feel so welcome when we visited the Fairfield Inn Bar. I travel to New Orleans every year and I am looking forward to visiting her there again. Thanks again for making our stay special!

Our room was a bit small and crowded for 4 people. The hotel was obvious not built originally as a hotel but they have done a good job fitting for one. The location was a bit out of the main flow, which created more of a walk but also kept it quieter. The breakfast offered plenty of options for everyone from... More

Goods-Bed was great, hot hot water Bads - breakfast left a lot to be desired, one of two elevators did not work, built on the cheap. Location was okay. We used Uber all the time, so was no problem. Parking is $34.00 per day with in and out service. Staff was okay

This hotel offers a double king room option with plenty of space. Recently renovated and updated-this is a fair value and decent location. Enjoyed our stay, felt safe, and great beds. Bar/restaurant in hotel and also GREAT dining options within short walking distance.

We were greeted with a warm and welcoming front desk. The hotel smelled of new! The hotel is located off beaten path of canal and Bourbon Streets, in an area of rebirth. We chatted with the front desk asking about a good steak place (she led us to a non-steak place), we also asked her for a 3a wake up... More

We stayed here just 2 weeks after it opened. There were some hiccups but they were easily overlooked because the staff was prompt in rectifying problems. The staff is still new so they are still establishing a team report but I have nothing but positive things to say about the way we were treated. I understand there were some problems... More

The building is newly remodeled. Our room has modern décor, and the exposed beams and tall ceilings were nice touches. The entrance is nice, and the staff were helpful. The breakfast each day was as expected. There is no onsite parking, but there is a new parking garage just around the corner that is $20 per day. I recommend it... More

Spent three nights at this new hotel. Breakfast every morning was good. My two young boys love the make your own waffles. We had a corner room with two king beds. Very nice. Could see a lot of the city from our 7th floor view. We enjoyed staying at this hotel for our first experience to NOLA!

I've stayed in a lot of fairfield inn properties and I've never seen a location as beautiful as this one. The televisions are complete with netflix and endless shows to watch, lamps with USB plug ins for the many devices we had with us, and really comfortable beds for a good night sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful. The... More

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
