We stayed here for three nights the beginning of May. Service was excellent. Particularly of note was the excellent breakfast. Served with Covid protocols, it included an excellent microwaved egg bagel sandwich and a large variety of fruit and other items. Kathy and her colleague, whose name I unfortunately did not get, did a great job serving the customers quickly and well all three mornings we were there. The room was excellent, including a good mini-fridge (no freezer compartment). It was an easy walk to many of the downtown attractions. Dominica was an excellent restaurant three blocks away and without the long lines in the French Quarter. Valet parking was $34 per day plus tax.
Tory at the front desk was extremely welcoming and friendly, my room was huge, super clean, comfortable and quiet. Loved it. I would totally recommend this hotel, centrally located and close to literally everything.
Room was nice. A little slim getting around room, but that was to be expected as this hotel is in the city and most inner city hotels are just a like. I saw a few imperfections in the room, spot on carpet, wallpaper in bathroom peeling at corner, but nothing terrible. Nothing that will prevent me from staying again. Hotel is in a great central location. You can walk to a lot of attractions and things to see. Check in was a breeze. I will say though that there is a cocktail bar across street so patrons down there were a bit loud at times so if you are a light sleeper, I would not suggest getting a room facing street (we were on the 5th floor and heard them clear as day) They do offer a complimentary breakfast but not sure what’s all included as I did not attend either morning. This hotel is located a good 20-25 minutes from airport so a Uber ride to OR from airport was about $35 plus tip for a Uber XL. Not to bad if your splitting with a few people. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone! …
This was our first trip to the "big easy" and we booked this property for its location and price. First, parking for larger vehicles is out on the street we got lucky that we could park close by. Only a few blocks from the French Quarter so walking it wasn't a problem at all. Room needed a little TLC. It had some moldy wet spots on the ceiling, we let the front desk know. Breakfast is a brown bag grab and go due to covid.
The hotel was clean, nicely situated, convenient to French Quarter and Uber and comfortable. We booked for a Girl’s Birthday Trip with 7 ladies and there were not many complaints. The rooms and bathrooms were very spacious. My room was a Deluxe King chosen for social accommodations which gave enough space for everyone to be comfortable. There were 2 mounted TVs for both sides of the room which have YouTube, Netflix and Pandora apps installed! The first room did have ants but I was accommodated to another room immediately. The hotel staff were extremely helpful before, during and after booking. We visited the Ruby Slipper for breakfast which was a 10 minute walk from the hotel and offered tasty inexpensive food. We were also not far from Bourbon Street.
