This is our second stay at this hotel, and we find it very convenient to the WW2 museum, the convention center, Super Dome, nice dining, as well as public transportation. Rooms are good size, and since it is a Residence Inn, breakfast is included.

Our visit to New Orleans was to honor WW II Navy Veterans who served on Landing Craft Infantry Ships. We were within walking distance of the National WW II Museum and restaurants. Our 1 Bedroom Room was comfortable and well maintained. The complimentary full breakfast in the hotel's Gatehouse is excellent with hot foods, pastries, fruit, etc.. The hotel event...

Conveniently located and very close to the French quarter but not so close that it’s noisy. Good on site facilities for swimming, tennis and sun bathing, good for families. Breakfast comes with the deal but it’s not the best, they were always running out of coffe

Greetings from New Orleans Residence Inn! It was certainly a pleasure to have you here as our guest and we do appreciate all the wonderful feedback that you have provided. We are so glad that you were able to enjoy our lush courtyard and outdoor sport court. We apologize that the coffee was not readily replenished and we hope you...

This was one of my worst hotel experiences in a very long time. The check in person was rude and unprofessional. The room was outdated and very noisy from the air conditioner in the next room. There are too many nice hotels in the area to stay at this hotel.

Greetings from New Orleans Residence Inn! Thank you so much for staying with us! It was such a pleasure to have you as our guest and we are very disheartened that you did not have an enjoyable experience. We will be reporting the noise issue with the suite air conditioner to the maintenance team to rectify this issue. We also...

The location is very convenient and child friendly. The room was nice and well maintained(but you better bring some hand soap). There was an excellent selection of breakfast and Mr Duane the breakfast staff helped us alot. Overall a great and economical stay in the city on New Orleans.

What great hospitality...When we arrived, Vanessa greeted us by name. Specifically acknowledged my father a 93 year old WWII vet and thanking him for his service. We were floored. We were attending his 71 annual Navy reunion for the USS Santa Fe, September 2016. It was based at this hotel and the service provided can be matched to any 5...

Chose to stay here due to its proximity to the Convention Center. It's only a couple blocks away. I stayed in a Studio suite with a queen bed. It was very spacious and clean. It had a kitchen area, sofabed, and a large desk, and there was free wifi. There was complimentary hot breakfast; be sure to get there early...

The service we experienced in this hotel was second to none. We arrived from Scotland after a 14 hour flight to be warmly greeted by the lovely Claire. She checked us in very quickly and we were in our room within 10 minutes. Our room was more than we could ever have hoped for. Very spacious light and airy with...

Stayed here for a trade show and was very pleased. A clean room and a great breakfast. Claire at the front desk was amazing and Duane and his staff in the breakfast room did an excellent job. My room (suite style) was great and I will definitely stay here when given the opportunity. Loved the fact that every area was...

Our family of 6 adults visited NOLA and this hotel for my sister's 50th birthday. We booked this hotel for it's great rates in a location close to public transportation (trolleys) to see the sights, room for 6 & also the included breakfast. It is not an upscale hotel like those on Canal or Royal streets, so don't expect that....

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
