Hote is convenient since next door to hospital. Offered a low rate if child is habjng surgery at hospital. Pool and hot tub are nice. Rooms are clean and roomy. Stayed here a few times. My knly complaint this time is the beds are worn out. They were sinking in the middle. No matter how hard we tried to stay on edge, always rolled to middle, sinking. Also wished they offered more nights at low cost for patients staying longer in hospital.
Hotel is next door to Ochsner Hospital in NOLA. We were able to park our car at the hotel for free & just walk over to the West Tower, which was super convenient. Saw the pool from the room & it looked inviting but just to tired to indulge myself! Hotel was clean and beds comfy. Had a single serve coffee maker, microwave & fridge, which is all we needed for our 2 night stay. Front desk staff needs to learn how to greet clients with a smile, which was never offered. Didn't appear that they love their job but that was my impression. After the 1st night we asked them if we could possible extend an extra night and were told they were full but when I looked on line, no issues. Not understanding that! (For Mgt, it would have been 6/17/21) Cafeteria was large, clean and had a good selection of evening foods. Hotel was reasonably priced and a good nights sleep as very quiet.…
The rooms are all accessible by interior hallways to the cafeteria & a few food options like PJ’s coffee & Smoothie King. The courtyards are nice. The hotel desk are helpful & friendly. The rooms are not pristine but obviously cleaned before each guest to a “greater than most of NO” standard. The safety of the parking garage & attachment to hospital is worth the less than great standard found at higher end hotels.
My stay at the Brent House for the last 6 weeks has been very comfortable. Special mention is made to Tina and Kimberly at the front desk for their superb service. I also would like to mention Desiree and Jaqueline in Housekeeping for their excellent service and demeanor. Thank you for the wonderful experience. Sincerely, Rondall Sylvest,R.T.(R)(CT).
The safety, professionalism & beauty of this place will make your day..Guest services are on point and the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable, What an Awesome Diamond in the rough, during hurricane Delta
When I added another week stay for my room I was charged a higher price than what I was charged the week before. I questioned Sheryl the night desk clerk about the difference in price. Sheryl ( who was very patient and professional) looked at my account and explained the manager would be able to adjust the price. Manager Kimberly Freeze promptly returned my phone call and assured me she would look into the difference in charges. Ms Freeze contacted me by phone and email explaining what had happen for the difference in room charges. ( part of the difference in charges was on me,I did not bring my AARP # back to put on file for the room discount ) Thanks Brent House for having courteous and dedicated employees like Kimberly and Sheryl on your team. Thanks, Vic Kissel
I would like to thank Kimberley and Ruby for their kindness. My wife stayed in the ER all night and I was able to stay with her. I did not need my room after all. They kindly refunded my money with a smile. It was greatly appreciated at the time. Thank you again for your kindness.
Kim and Tina are very helpful and very friendly. First time dealing with Kim, she was great. Deal with Tina all the time, she’s always awesome. Definitely will stay again!!! Very clean and all staff was great. Have stayed there multiple times and have told friends and family to stay there.
The staff was very helpful and hospitable during our stay. Dealing with staff at a hotel can sometimes be frustrating but we didn't have any issues and they were very accommodating. It made for a smooth sailing trip!
We came to stay here during the National Championship on 1/13/2020. It was full of people. I stayed here with my wife (47), my daughter (11), and myself (51). It was great for this size. Quite as can be at 9:00pm til 8:00am. The room was some what clean (manageable for normal people). My Mother in law’s friend stayed here, and her experience was great too. One downside is it does not have many restaurants in the hotel. We stayed 2 nights. You can view the Mississippi River from your room. It has a nice pool. No smells (Weed, Crack, etc). One other great thing is that it has a kid friendly environment (no cussing and inappropriate stuff). Staff is really nice and janitors are polite because they came to our room and dropped off multiple toiletries and towels. Was 10 minutes from downtown New Orleans.…
