Let me start out by saying that I like traditional hotels in old buildings. I like the Prince Conti. It's convenient, and the staff is lovely. It's one of the easier places to park in the Quarter. The room I had on this last visit was a decent size. But the furnishings are looking a bit shopworn. Prince Conti needs...

I read all the reviews before going and afterwards.....and yet I cannot agree with any of them. My friends and I stayed @ this hotel during the essences festival and we had the most horrendous experience from the word "go" (1)time I got there, they scraped my car with another and I also had multiple dings when I left. Valet...

We stayed at the Prince Conti the first week of May 2012 (I'm very late in writing this review) and enjoyed it. Loved the fact that it was 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. As soon as our town car pulled in we were greeted, someone took our bags and check-in was quick & friendly. We asked for a room away...

From the moment we drove on to the property everyone was so eager to please. The valet, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and servers in the restaraunt went out of their way to serve and did it with a smile. There was no view from our 3rd floor room, but you can expect that in New Orleans as so many rooms...

My husband took me here for my Birthday over July 4th. I was afraid it was going to be noisy as it is only a block off Bourbon St. We were on the 3rd floor,at the very end of the corridor, I never heard a thing and slept great. They also give you $2.00 credit for breakfast at the cafe...

This is a tough review for me, not really sure how to rate this place. Service - Because everyone I came in contact with, was so nice and helpful it makes it tough. Reception, housekeeping, maintenance all really pleasant and eager to please. Room - old in need of some renovations. Walls paper thin so when people come in late...

Great rates right in the French Quarter. Very comfortable and clean. All staff were very courteous and helpful, with special thanks to Darnell and Lisa. They were both so helpful and kind.

When traveling to NOLA we prefer Prince Conti! You can't beat the location or the service. This trip was our best yet! Ava and Clay during the day went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a good one and that we knew where to go and what to do.The whole staff seemed happy and hard-working. Honestly, you...

I stayed at the Sheraton for a couple days. i then switched to the Conti. I loved it here. I had a deluxe room that I paid $69 for. 2nd floor, facing Conti. Great room. High ceilings, large bathroom, comfy bed. The manager was excellent. I will be staying here again, especially with the great rates.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
