I give this a five because of the staff, breakfast, and location. The interior room was small, but clean but we asked to be moved to a larger room and the staff tried their best, and was able to accommodate us. I loved the court yard for late night drinks, or breakfast. You did not feel you were in the... More

Good location, beautiful courtyard, clean room, but room needs more natural light and to be ventilated properly. Breakfast very good with a large variety of choices. Croissants could be served fresher.

The customer service was outstanding. We accidentally booked a day later and they made it work for us. And even worked to get us a refund back from booking site. The suite was nice and was able to get whatever was needed

It's 10PM and there is a 300 person party that has been going on in the courtyard for 2 hours now. Had I known this I would NOT have booked this hotel. If you want to stay here make sure there is no party going on. Other than that it seems like a nice hotel. The only window in my... More

This hotel was a welcome site!! The room was spacious, the bathroom was spacious and I can't think of anything I didn't like except the bed could have been softer. The personnel were professional and very friendly. A front desk clerk even came up to our room to help us open a bottle of wine. The breakfast was elegant and... More

Great position and close to Bourbon St. Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to everything and easy walking to the Hop on Hop Off buses and trams. The night Doorman really knew his restaurants and pointed us to some memorable meals.

I've stayed at this place each and every time I've visited NOLA and wanted to be close to the action. That's going back when the hotel was called Hotel du Saint Louis. I've never stayed during Mardi Gras, so the pricing has always been VERY reasonable. The rooms to me can be hit or miss depending on which part of... More

The Hotel Mazarin is a very elegant hotel built around a large central courtyard and located in the French Quarter. Our 4th floor room looked down into the courtyard and we didn't experience any undue noise from outside. As with any hotel in this area, access by car is a bit of an experience but the hotel has an efficient... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
